The first time I played this game, I could not put the controller down. It was just so amazing! The graphics, backrounds, and character were created with a lot of detail. In this game, as batman you get the same gadgets as in Batman: Arkham Asylum and new additional ones as well. You can also freefall in this game witch is cool and fun to do. The side-missions are fun to do. They let you explore and find out about differnt villians that you might not now about! The game overall goes in depth into the villians and inmates of Gotham City. It is hard for me to say something bad about this game because it is so great. I'd recommend this game to players of the ages 11 and up.
Batman: Arkham City is the greatest game I've ever played. Hands down. The audio and graphics are wonderful. The villains are tough, but not impossible. The map is huge and you're given lots of freedom to explore it with the main objective and several challenging side missions. The story is brilliant, creative, entertaining, and thrilling. Once you think you've figured it out, BAM! there's a plot twist. Playing this game is like being a part of the greatest film of all time. No matter how hard I try, I just can not think of anything bad to say about Arkham City.
Great game and an improvement over Arkham Asylum. You've got improved gameplay, a more interesting storyline, and a much larger environment to roam around in. If you enjoyed Asylum, then you won't be disappointed with Arkham City.
I had first played Arkham Asylum on PC but it lagged so much I knew I wouldn't be able to play Arkham City. So I got a PS3 and got both games. City is so much better in many ways. It does require that you use your head. More so than in Asylum. The story was good. Lots more villians. I liked everything about this game except for one thing: remote control batarang. Maybe it's just me, but it seemed like it was nearly impossible to get it where it needed to go. And there is one place where I am having trouble getting out of.(The Steel Mill.) So those are my two complaints with the game. But it's probably just me. And due to the much bigger layout, it may be a challenge to find some of the Riddler trophies.. So if you enjoyed Arkham Asylum, you will most likely enjoy playing Arkham City. A must have.
excellent game as far as action and the story line .. but man too much profanity .. I would recommend this to an adult gamer ..
this the game ever don't waste your tme reading this just buy it
Arkham City was not as entertaining as Arkham Asylum but its fun for what its worth deff not game of the year though. I enjoyed Joker in this one but the others didnt really grab my attention. The controls are buggy and I became frustrated a few times during play because of unresponsive controls and bad camera angles. The side missions are repetitive like Infamous doing the same thing over. I also had problems with "pop ins" on PS3 with see thru buildings and somebody talking but no body. Fun game though.
Batman Arkham City Was disappointed with the Catwomen game because code will not apply to use. I have not as yet played Batman until I can apply Catwomen inclosed code for the PS3. I may return The Batman game if I can not resolve the problem.
