Like 99% of people... I didn't read the instructions. For a batter tender? Fuggedaboudit! Well.. I got this to charge a lithium house battery in my bus. You have to plug it in, then change the mode to lithium, then connect it to the battery. Tis the only way. Can't change modes after it's all connected. Took me a bit to realize the issue. No points off for user error though.
Great batter tender, has the ability to switch from lithium to non lithium really a do it all charger doer machines. Hows heavy duty, alligator clips to hook onto batteries or the option to plug-in through factory connections
I should have stock in battery tenders. In the winter I use 5 of them, I believe that if I didnt have them I would be buying more batteries for my stuff. So its a win win. I have been using battery tenders my whole life... Of course that dont last as long they use to but what are we going to do about it. Wait i know keep buying more.. Its the way of the world.
i barely used it on my acid battery havent tryed the lithuim yet its wating to even be added was tyen it wasnt tgen i charged the new acid one first
I had purchased an antigravity Lifpo battery a while ago and needed a tender to keep it ready for the times I can't get out on the bike. This is a really nice charger since it'll do lead acid too. Whichever mode was previously used it where it will start, so best to plug it in first then press the mode button if needed. It is bulkier than the old wall-wart style DelTrans chargers but it seems like all of them have gotten bigger.
Love this product, small and compact, use it for my dirt bikes
I've only had it about a week. Easy to use. Hope it lasts a long time. My old one had quit working after 10 yrs.

This battery maintainer/charger brought back my 2013 328i BMW 2019 purchased car replacement battery from the point the car's iDrive diagnosis system was reporting the need to drive/start to recharge the battery every couple weeks to where after being connected for 2-3 days to maintain/recharge the battery system has been no longer sending the need to drive/start to recharge message for several months now. It saved me the need to buy a new replacement battery. The car has been on a mechanic's iDrive diagnosis system during oil/filter change maintenance in the last two weeks with no indication it needs recharging or replacement. The value for money is excellent. It was not obvious I needed to pursue this remedy until I enlisted the help of a good friend(expert mechanic) who used to run a large major oil service station or I might not have found this solution and the current mechanic's validation of the maintainer/recharger use, which did require the good friend's expert help.
Just wish the cord was longer. Had to buy an extension cable. Great product to keep battery charged.
