I was skeptical at first but I knew Battery Tender is generally a pretty good brand and reliable. Easy to follow instructions. Charges well. My iPhone did allow it. As did my GPS . It did not seem to drain battery. We did zip tie to frame . We charged during a dinner break. Comes in very handy. I haven't tried it for longer than an 2 hours between the 2 devices. Reminder it's not going to be waterproof will charging bit will be when cover is closed.
This is very handy for use when you are not at home. A lot of us have several apps, as well as GPS on out phones. While it is helpful to have access to all this, all this technology drains our batteries. Even with careful planning, our phones need charging when we are out and about. This is a great item to keep with you when you are on the go. Simply plug in and charge. You want to be able to call for help, so do not risk a dead battery.
Have you ever been out in the boondocks and your phone died and there's no way to charge it because you're out in the boondocks? I have. It sucks, especially if there is an emergency and you need to make a call. This little guy is pretty cool. You just hook it up to a battery and it charges your phone right up. It's very compact so it won't take up a lot of space. In one of the pics I posted here, you can see how big it is compared to my (lady) thumb. This thing works with any outdoor recreation vehicle you might have - snowmobiles, boats, ATV's etc. I can't wait to take it on our next camping trip. We used to bring those portable power bricks, but those die after just a couple of charges, and then they are useless until we get home and can charge them again. Not this thing. As long as you have a battery nearby, you can charge your phone, flashlights, etc. anything that uses USB - and keep charging as much as you want to. Battery Tender is a good brand too, so this charger is well made and I expect it will last for many years. My friends have never seen anything like it, and didn't even know such a thing existed. Neither did I until a couple of weeks ago. I don't know where this thing has been all my life, but I'm glad I have one now. Worth the money, compact, great to have, and works with any outdoor recreational vehicle battery. I love it.
We're living in Oklahoma and everything is at least an hour drive from where we live. I bought this in case of An emergency since my husbands car broke down on a night drive to Colorado and his cell phone almost died and I could hear the coyotes during our call while he was waiting hours for a tow truck. Reality is we might need it one day and even great for camping.
this is a great item to have if your battery dies in your truck when your out at the deer lease and your phone is about to die too. Hook it up to the atv battery and charge the phone and call for help. I good device to have!! I highly recommend it because u never know what will happen!!!
The powersport cellphone charging kit is an absolute must have when it comes to pretty much anything outdoors! So far I've needed it while riding trails on the quads and thankfully we had it when we were out on the boat in the middle of the lake and needed to recharge a cellphone for an emergency call! It seriously could have been a bad situation if it wasn't for us being able to quickly charge a phone! It's so easy to hook up and it barely takes up any room when storing! Great ‘just in case' and comforting to know it's there for backup! The price is great as well!
This is one of the best Battery tender ring accessory charger adapters I have ever tried it is wonderful I love how I can put this on my golf cart and take it with me it is very simple to use nothing complicated about it at all the charge stays powered up for a long time which is very impressive I am highly impressed with this it is an excellent device really am happy with it.
I had no idea how bad I needed one of these until I got one because it's so handy! We ride our ATV on long rides and one of our cell phone's is always going dead, mostly mine. I never have to worry about getting stuck somewhere with a dead phone because it won't happen anymore. We ride through some rough terrain and the charger has taken a beaten and still works great. It seems very durable. It is very easy to use and hookup. One of our friends saw it and was going to purchase his own from Walmart when he got home. Now we make sure we have this every time we are going for a ride.
This is an awesome accessory to add to any of your 12 volt powered vehicles. I add this to my ride on lawn mower to be able to charge my bluetooth speaker while mowing the lawn. Usually I would only be able to do half the lawn before needing a charge but with the Battery Tender ring terminal accessory I can continuing mowing without stopping
The product is awesome to have in time of need for a hurricane, breakdown or power outage but I had a hard time figuring out what each plug was used for. After reading for a while I kind of figured it out but still confused about some. The actual product is great for using for various things so I would suggest get it as a back up.
