I had no idea how bad I needed one of these until I got one because it's so handy! We ride our ATV on long rides and one of our cell phone's is always going dead, mostly mine. I never have to worry about getting stuck somewhere with a dead phone because it won't happen anymore. We ride through some rough terrain and the charger has taken a beaten and still works great. It seems very durable. It is very easy to use and hookup. One of our friends saw it and was going to purchase his own from Walmart when he got home. Now we make sure we have this every time we are going for a ride.
This little device intrigues me, I'm glad I found it! As soon as I got it I had to try it So I ran out to our riding lawn mower and hooked it up (after disconnecting the battery cables to the lawn mower) it worked just as described. Took a bit to get a full charge but that maybe due to the age of our battery. It comes in handy for camping and I can see this being useful in a power outage as well!
Have you ever been out in the boondocks and your phone died and there's no way to charge it because you're out in the boondocks? I have. It sucks, especially if there is an emergency and you need to make a call. This little guy is pretty cool. You just hook it up to a battery and it charges your phone right up. It's very compact so it won't take up a lot of space. In one of the pics I posted here, you can see how big it is compared to my (lady) thumb. This thing works with any outdoor recreation vehicle you might have - snowmobiles, boats, ATV's etc. I can't wait to take it on our next camping trip. We used to bring those portable power bricks, but those die after just a couple of charges, and then they are useless until we get home and can charge them again. Not this thing. As long as you have a battery nearby, you can charge your phone, flashlights, etc. anything that uses USB - and keep charging as much as you want to. Battery Tender is a good brand too, so this charger is well made and I expect it will last for many years. My friends have never seen anything like it, and didn't even know such a thing existed. Neither did I until a couple of weeks ago. I don't know where this thing has been all my life, but I'm glad I have one now. Worth the money, compact, great to have, and works with any outdoor recreational vehicle battery. I love it.
This product is very handy. My family loves going on 4 wheeler rides and their mostly on dirt roads. Well, long story short, the cigarette lighter port went out and we can't charge our phone. This charger is very useful for that and my husband charges his phone anywhere outside.
I was really surprised how flexible of how many vehicles this could be installed on. Came with all parts needed. Let's you take anything 12 volt powered from a car, truck, boat, moped, and let's you install a charging USB port to charge your devices on.
This is an awesome accessory to add to any of your 12 volt powered vehicles. I add this to my ride on lawn mower to be able to charge my bluetooth speaker while mowing the lawn. Usually I would only be able to do half the lawn before needing a charge but with the Battery Tender ring terminal accessory I can continuing mowing without stopping
Like many motorcyclists, I have a battery tender pigtail installed on my bike to keep my battery in good shape. This handy little gizmo allows you to make that pigtail do double duty as a handy USB port. This comes as a complete kit if you don't already have the pigtail My cell phone is a battery hog when I run the navigation. This unit allows me to run navigation all day long and still have juice. When not in use, it tucks away conveniently. This is a must have
This is very handy for use when you are not at home. A lot of us have several apps, as well as GPS on out phones. While it is helpful to have access to all this, all this technology drains our batteries. Even with careful planning, our phones need charging when we are out and about. This is a great item to keep with you when you are on the go. Simply plug in and charge. You want to be able to call for help, so do not risk a dead battery.
Having this USB charger for our motorcycle is literally a lifesaver. I don't know how we lived without it. It was really easy to install, just connect the rings to the terminal. Its a comfort knowing i can charge anything with a USB off our bike! Our friends have used it as well. They are now all going out to buy them. Its worth every penny.
This is great for when you are out in a bout on your sports utility vehicle or boat and need to charge your phone or keep it charged. You still need to use the phone's cable with the terminal accessory cable that hooks to the battery. I would have liked different prongs on the cables. If the prongs were clips instead of loops it would be easier to use. It still gets the job done though.
