Low expectations, high results!

metallicaman5085 June 18, 2009

I purchased this product mainly because one of my close friends told me that the online play for this game was amazing & that the storyline was not worth it alone. Since purchasing this product I have actually very much so enjoyed the story of the game as well as the realism of the graphics! I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys Call of Duty games or Halo 3!

great game

exterminatus July 19, 2008

Bad Company is definately a great game. The characters are hilarious and the gameplay itself is very well made out. Sound effects are pretty impressive; the difference between a gun battle up close and in the distance is very distinguishable. Graphics are up to par with the next gen consoles. The ability to blow holes in buildings to get at hiding enemies adds a new twist to gameplay. The single player storyline is good and the characters and dialoue are hilarious. Recomended for players who don't want a "serious" shooter like Call of Duty 4; this is more of a sandbox-style game.

Thar's gold in them thar fields!

Rockman1138 January 18, 2009

The Battlefield series is one of the first and best team-based shooters, and Bad Company ensures that it will stay on top of the pile for the forseeable future. You can forget the hooplah about the new single-player campaign. Well, play through it once to get the feel for the game (because the game does feel much different from BF2:MC and other similar shooters), then forget it. It's okay, but not worth it in and of itself. Battlefield remains a mulitplayer experience. If you can't play it online, don't buy it. Both classic Conquest and the new Gold Rush multiplayer matches deliver the intense action expected of a game named Battlefield. With the next-gen Frostbite engine, BF:BC does things no other shooter can. Blowing up walls to get to the people hiding behind them is just the beginning. The most incredible thing about it is actually the sound: the way weapons report, explosions go off all around you, and sirens blare get you going way more than a game could with just graphics alone (I'm looking at you, Call of Duty 4: your sound isn't bad but this puts it to shame). Intricate maps and a wide array of weapons and abilities guarantee a deep battle every time. If this is at all your thing, do not miss out on Bad Company!

Excellent Game

ChopNY August 21, 2009

Saw this on the shelf for under $20. I was out of games and have completed most of the shooter's out there. This is a great game. Funny, story line. I can't believe it's not up there with Gears or Rainbow, or the other popular war shooter games. Get it, you won't be sorry.

GREAT BUY!!

JoeFromTX June 15, 2009

I've been playing Call of Duty World At War for EVER, but I randomly went out and bought this game due to the awesome battlefield games coming out. I loooove this game. The Single Player is long and challenging and it has impressed me. Buy it! It's a steal for 20 bucks!

awesome

BF:Bad Comany is at the very top of the list of any shooter ever put out. The graphics are great, the gameplay is very deep, the maps are gigantic; not like some games where the is only one route to follow. As with most games put out now, the online multiplayer is better than the single player campaign. But the campaign isn't bad. I would recomend playing it through at least once to get a feel for the game. There are some subtle changes from Modern Combat, but theyre all for the better. The maps are something like 95% destructable meaning almost everything is capable of being blown up. Very cool. With the two different modes of online play, the online multiplayer never gets old. There is the conquest mode from the last BF game which is like capture and hold the flag. The other mode is Gold Rush where it's an attack/defend game, both of which are very fun. The one knock against the online play is you can only communicate with your squad which consists of 4 players. So if a team is made up of 12 players per side you can only talk to the other 3 players in your squad unless the whole team is in a party together. But overall an awesome game. Not exactly for little kids tho, not so much for the violence, but for the plethera of 4 letter words throughout the game. Great buy tho, as long as youre able to play online. Beat the campaign, and still play online allll the time.

Better Than Expected

DryingInk March 29, 2010

When I got this game, I didn't know what to expect. I literally knew nothing about it. I've played a couple of other war games and didn't expect it to be much different than those, but I have to admit I've had the most fun playing this one and that it has a lot of great moments. The characters were genuinely interesting and quite hilarious, and the controls were easy to pick up and get used to. The missions were fairly varied as well, and the graphics are pretty good. I had a hard time putting down this game. It was just way too much fun, and it was worth every penny.

Great Game!

Bertbo September 2, 2009

I've been a PC game since they started making PC games, and new to the XBOX360. I have tired several First Person Shooters and so far, Battlefield Bad Co. is the best. Single Player campaign is interesting and challenging, but Multiplayer is where the game shines. Graphics are top-notch, nearly a fully destructible environment, many kit and weapon choices, and up to 4 man squads. The action is intense, the explosions look great, and with the downloadable "Conquest' game play maps, numerous. VERY few exploits, (I rarely encounter people using them) and a game where squads using the Voice Comms, can really use tactics to win the game. Even though the game has been out for some time, the servers are still ROCKING with activity.

Loved the game

BroliTheLegend December 26, 2009

I didn't like the game at first but once I got into it I couldn't stop playing. This game isn't short like many others, it has a good story line with a little comedy to it. I didn't like how you could only have one weapon at a time except for the rocket launcher but each gun has a grenade launcher as a secondary and the sniper rifle has a pistol so I was fine with that. My other dislike is that some parts of the game were impossible to fight through you could only run for your life and the tanks seem to only shoot at me and no one else no matter where I hide. Any shooter will like this game though.
