Wow! Awesome movie. Better than Independence Day. It's got everything I love. A story line, a hot girl and action, action and more action. From start to finish it's has some great battleship action scenes. Love the part where they use the decommissioned battleship and some older veterans take part too (If you're patriotic at all that part will move you). Will watch this movie again and again.

This video is a wonderful yet horrifying film also adventurous and exciting a film and brings out the big guns awesome

What I like the most about this movie (other than the cool special effect) is it sort of explains the difference between the new war ships the Navy now has and the Graceful Ladies of WW2. Well, that and it's got a cool story line as well. Advantages and dis-advantages in both types. The older Grey Ladies were built to take a heck of a pounding where as the newer ships are lighter for higher speeds but won't take a hard hit.

bought on recommendation by brother and so glad. Watched Battleship and its packed with action and excitement. i highly recommend this dvd to everyone.

The movie has a good plot building to a finale, great music and a strong character cast. Many scenes from the movie including Oahu and surrounding areas bring back memories from my time in the military. Thanks to Peter Berg for dynamite movie

This is a good action movie with a surprise or two if you are just simply watching the movie. It is based on the game Battleship by Hasbro. The part which relates to the game is very limited. Maybe 10 to 15 minutes worth. The rest of the time the movie is based on a certain story line that has nothing to do with the game. It is still good and has some variety. It has action(of course), a little mystery, a little sense of humor and the normal ending. Rhianna is in this as her first time as an actress. I loved her in this movie and hope she will sometime in the future do some more acting. All I can say is if you like action with some sci-fi then I think you will like this movie.

ONE STAR, ONLY BECAUSE THEY MAKED ME TO POST REVEIW. received defective disc and returned it to receive a second defective disc! tried to schedule fedex pickup through walmarts return page to get kicked me out twice. so, tried to return by u.s.p.s. and walmart system prints a FEDEX label? post office scanners will not recognize FEDEX barcode, don't figure. called walmart with no help because the person on the phone is trying to tell me the same thing i read in my return set up page...can be dropped at fedex or u.s.p.s. which is wrong. i told her to refund my account and i'm throwing it into the garbage because i refuse to deal with it for one more second!
