I have bought several of these from big box store and the quality was not as good or nice as the Walmart trees were. When I picked them up and saw them, I went in the store on the same trip and purchase two more for a total of five trees. I also picked up another bush because everything look healthy.

Very healthy tall shrub.
Very happy with this Sky Pencil Holly shrub…very healthy looking and a nice size…it's about 20” tall not including the plastic container. Can't wait to plant this tomorrow.

Shorter than expected
As several other reviewers mentioned the sky pencil holly being smaller and/or shorter than they expected, this was also my experience. I returned it for that reason and because it would not look the way I wanted it to compared to the sky pencil holly pushes I already have planted. If you don't mind it being short, I would recommend purchasing this item. It was clearly healthy when it arrived, was well packaged, and had vibrant green leaves with some blooms showing.

Small
This plant was much much smaller than what was estimated on the website. I was able to get one almost tripple in size at my local nursery for significantly less. It did seem quite healthy though.
