Bausch & Lomb Advanced Eye Relief Night Time Dry Eye Lubricant Eye Ointment, .125 oz

I have dry eyes and have to put ointment in my eyes at night. I had been using Muro 128 and Alcorn ointment, but it was $18-25. per tube. I found this at Wal-mart and decided to try it. And it works just as good as the other two brands for alot less money. I still use the others when my I'm having a bad day with my eyes, but this a good alternative to save money.

Actually, I use this product for my old dog, who has extreme dry eye. He is a Pug and has had two surgeries on his eyes. I was using a veterinarian product, but it was too thin and exited the holder far too fast, resulting in using too much product. It became very expensive and he will be using this for the rest of his life, so I started using people products (only good ones and only after checking with the Vet) and found this one to be the very best, physically and economically.

I have extreme dry eye due to PRK surgery. This product has 80% Petroleum Jelly and 20% Mineral Oil that for me helps throughout the night and wake up with no eye pain. I have used other products with lower %'s but more Petroleum I get more comfort, this works the best for me. I do reapply though out the night as needed to comfort. Yes I do recommend this product to whomever has extreme dry eye.

Product has 2 ingredients in it unlike most all other drops. For this reason it lasts longer in your eye. It is helping my wife recover from eye surgery. A 10+ product

This ointment has pretty much the same ingredients as others but the percentage mix is different and works best for me.

This is if u have dry eyes..but its pricey...

Its not super watery like the generic brands and....it doesn't have a metal tip. I find it less unnerving to put plastic to my eye vs metal.

The B & L Soothe Night Time ointment relieves severe dry eye as product is intended for. I was shopping for the original Soothe eye drops in the squeeze bottle. It is no longer available and was replaced by the single-use vials. To properly use the ointment, you need steady hands to carefully measure 1/4 inch, while squeezing the tube and avoiding contact of inside eyelid with the nozzle. Applying the ointment should be the last thing you do before retiring for the night. The ointment is very thick(like petroleum jelly) and obscures vision. In addition, I am a newbie to Walmart.com and was pleasantly surprised by the ease of using the site and the speedy delivery of my order.

The dry eye gell works well to dispell dry eyes at night. It is very difficult to apply. You get it all over your outer eye lid while aiming and squeezing. Although it does last throughout the night, the waste is great, as is the exhorbitant price.
