Bayou Classic 10 qt. Stainless Steel Fry Pot with Basket & Thermometer

Have not used it yet, but I have no doubt that it will work fine. Good quality , comes with thermometer , which I do not recall being mentioned in the ad. The picture in the ad shows an opening in the side of the lid that would fit over the basket handle, mine does not have that.

From other stainless steel products that I have purchased over the years, this one has a professional look to it. It looks durable & sturdy. Good finish. Unfortunately I can't tell you any more until I get to use it. Funny I just got it & it already went up 2 bucks in price.

When I got this thing thought it was way too big. But after using it I think it's perfect. I was able to fry all my dinner in 1 batch and be done instead of babysitting multiple batches.

There's a ledge that allows the pot to remain on top to have the oil drip down to the bottom. No more any need to hold the handle and wear out your strength. The actual pot with the oil is also completely strong and super quality! Well done!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Stainless Steel Fry Pot and Perforated Basket set is a big time mess saver. It makes frying in oil so much easier. The basket is so easy to drop down into the correct sized pan and cover with the included lid as your food fries. I've done several foods and all have turned out very good with this. I like that I can use the basket to easily drop the food in, take it out when it's done, and then allow the excess oil to drip back into the pot before I dump it onto a plate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pot set is made out of stainless steel and is very durable...I know that it will last a long time. The handles make it easy to maneuver the pot. It's great for frying most, but I prefer my shrimp. However, you can remove the basket and make your favorite chili. I really satisfied with the quality and size of this system. The only problem is that I can't get my wife to cook! :)

The most irritating thing about this pot is the bi-lingual caution statements permanently engraved in the lid. If this is a harbinger of things to come, then I may have to stop buying anything new. To me this is almost as bad as my GMC reminding me to check the rear seat every time I turn it off. Aside from the dire warnings on the lid, the pot is well constructed though I did hope that the base would be heavier. In reality the thickness of the base and sides is the same, and while it works doesn't give the confidence you hope for in a pot of this size. I will say the width of the pot is fabulous. I was able to boil two chickens side by side so they cooked evenly and equally. Not that that has anything to do with frying, but it also means plenty of room to fry without stacking the food. The fryer basket is quite heavy duty and the handle and integrated attachment points and hangars feels quite strong

This is a case of getting what you pay for, there are more sturdy deep frying pots out there - but - they are far more expensive. So far - no issues. Although, having all the warning text embossed into the pan is a little over the top and makes the pan a little ugly!

I order a fryer with a blue handle that stay cool. The picture is what I want and order but that not what I got. I got a fryer with a stainless handle. See item deliver picture now I have take time out my day to send them back real mad. You need to update that picture cause what you are sell is not the one deliver. And I was informed that a old picture and they don't make any more
