heavy
very nice roaster . i got this to replace an enameled cast iron roaster. dont buy enamel, they're impossible to clean and when finish degrades theyre trash. get a solid seasoned cast iton instead. this one is big and be advised, it's heavy!

Large cast-iron Dutch oven.
I'm very surprised on the size, it would definitely hold a big turkey, Or two or three good size chickens. Along with other fixings inside the same pot.

True Iron
This is "old-fashioned cast iron." It's heavy. It's really heavy for me. But this roaster will outlast the next several generations!

Cast Iron Heirloom! Huge Roasting pan!
This roaster is huge and very heavy - even before you add.a t went five pound turkey! I'm not yet sure what size bird it could hold. Big enough for a family dinner. Or two pot roasts and gravy to cook slowly over a fire for hours?! I am full of recipe ideas. This will be a family heirloom!
