This is actually a nice little sewing machine. I have only tried it once and it creates a pretty sturdy stitch. The kit it comes with is very nice. Many colors of thread, stitch picker, and a tape measure. It won't do big jobs but it's great for hems.

I'm a 50-year-old and I bought this mainly to take care of simple clothing repairs and small adjustments without dragging out a full sewing machine or running to a tailor. USB charging is a big plus. I can charge it with the same cord I use for my phone, and the battery lasts a long time. I've used it several times on one charge with no problem. It's lightweight, portable, and easy to use once you get the hang of it. I've used it for hemming pants, fixing seams, and quick repairs, and it's saved me time and money. Just remember you do need to tie off the thread yourself when you're done. Overall, this is a great tool to have around the house for quick repairs and adjustments. It's not a replacement for a full sewing machine, but for everyday fixes, it does exactly what it's supposed to do. I'd recommend it.

got this for a gift and it is so cute and handy she will love it!! seems very easy to use! lightweight.

I could only get this to work on thin materials couldn't use it on certain pants for some reason probably user error but it worked on blankets and towels so i would recommend it for that type of stuff. Mine also came with random cloths and springs? Idk if that's supposed to be included lol

Yea I'll recomend only because even though its a knock-off (definitely not a Singer) it was fairly simple to set up and operate. it comes with everything you need to get started, including thread, extra sewing needles etc. I did use it just on som scrap fabric just to get the feel of it and its capabilities. it worked surprisingly well. i then used it to hem a pair of denim pants and it did a pretty good job considering im not a seamstress. all in all i give it a B

This is not for new sewers learning to sew. It will not save you time for a quick fix or repair. If you want to learn how to sew you're better off buying a larger machine. I have been sewing for over forty years and this handheld machine sounds like a good idea, but it isn't.
