I recently stopped my decaf coffee subscription from San Francisco Coffee Company because they no longer clearly indicate that their decaf coffee is processed using the Swiss Water Process. Since that distinction is important to me, I switched to a brand that consistently uses and clearly labels the Swiss Water Process, so I know exactly what I'm getting. The Swiss Water Process is a certified, chemical-free decaffeination method that uses only water and activated carbon filtration to remove caffeine while preserving flavor. It is a tightly controlled process with strict standards and traceability, which is one reason it tends to be more expensive. Some companies use more general terms such as "water processed," but that does not necessarily mean the coffee has undergone the same certified Swiss Water Process or meets the same standards of consistency. This coffee has a pleasant medium-to-strong flavor, with enough body and richness that it never feels like a compromise despite being decaf. I plan to continue purchasing my decaf coffee from this company.
More expensive than my Sam's club coffee, however I cannot find many decaf brands that use the swiss water method for removing the caffeine. That being said, this coffee is pretty good. I love that it's organic and swiss water method. The coffee is stronger than I thought it would be, but I just heat a little water in my cup before placing under the Keurig. I will definitely buy this again.
We will only drink this organic decaf. No plastic k-cup that leaches chemicals . It's made in a pod . I recommended this coffee to a doctor that I work with, She absolutely loved it too. The pod cup fits perfectly in my Keurig. I love how they use the Swiss water process to make the coffee decaf, without the use of chemicals . This is a smooth coffee without a chemical aftertaste. Highly recommend.
This coffee tastes great, most decaf coffees have an aftertaste on my taste buds, but this coffee doesn't. I was skeptical at first because of the lower price but, boy was I surprised! It's good for the environment, too. The capsules have less plastic and they're easier to open when I want put a little on my plants for a boost to the soil.
I'm disappointed because every time I need to reorder it's never available.... this is the only coffee I drink and I wish it was always available to purchase. Please get it back soon!!! Thank you.
I like it sometimes it taste a little strong when I make the small cup from my coffee maker so I add water or milk but the good thing is there's no plastic cups there's enough plastic and human bodies the way it is and now they're finding plastic in your brain Too many foods in plastic
I'm not a fan of decaf but love regular coffee. This decaf is the best! Tastes full-bodied and absolutely fulfills my coffee craving without the caffeine. So glad I discovered it! Bonus is the recyclable packaging. I empty the pods and put the grounds on the lawn and plants.
Bought like 5-6 times love it
We love this coffee! The only problem is that every so often the pod will burst open during making and get grounds in the coffee and all in the Keurig. But, the taste is so good we put up with this and have bought it as often as we can (when it's not out of stock)
The coffee has a very odd taste to it. And it's bitter, while it was a good buy I will have to say goodbye to this coffee. The best coffee I bought so far, and I tried several with the compostable pods, is San Francisco Bay's coffee.
