Bear Butt Double Camping Hammock

Held the two of us, totaling 460 lbs. It was everything else it claimed too.

I like the hammock but the ropes that it comes with doesn't want to stay on the tree.

Super nice! It would've been great if it came with the bear butt hammock straps (highly recommended) I purchased them separately, but I'm supremely happy with the way this hammock feels and handles. It's legit material not cheap at all. I love the deep blue color.

Stretches a lot, so make the tie ends pretty high. I am a big guy. I took several naps in this hammock. Plus the kids were swinging me around and I didn't DIE! lol. It really closes tight at the top, so stargazing was a little rough. But didn't let a lot of bugs in. I used a stick to hold open the sides for better viewing.

My husband is 6’4” and NEVER fits in a hammock. As you can see he has room to spare! He was slightly annoyed I bought 2 for a upcoming trip with the 5 kids. He just said- order 2 more. I’m never getting out of this- I don’t want to share. How much were these?!

What do I like about this product you ask? Well let’s start at the beginning, you see one day things were going as usual just regular work and personal life routine stuff. When suddenly, the world was turned upside down(which could potentially happen in this hammock)! While I am an essential personnel my dear dear wife and children are not, and I couldn’t bear the thought of them withering away indoors. So I stayed up day and night for 5 months when finally it hit me, like the coronavirus hit this planet, buy useless items with reckless abandon! So pouring through page after page on Amazon I came across this fantastic hammock! It literally rolls up into itself making it, in my humblest of opinions, the greatest portable hammock in the universe! I couldn’t believe how much life improved after this investment, the grass was greener, the sky was the bluest I’ve ever seen, and my family has never been so proud of the man they call husband/daddy. This hammock will be the best purchase you make today, if not send it back. KCCO Don’t Panic

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the tree ropes aren't really good for anything. My husband has some from another hammock which are thicker and have multiple loops so it can be adjusted. We used those with this and it worked perfectly. I'm super happy with this hammock overall!

It was too big for the frame.

During the initial setup, the hammock was fine. However over time two things became apparent. The hammock was deeper than wide, meaning once you sat into the hammock it was difficult to get out. The triple stitched sides, although strong, were so tight that you couldnt sit comfortably for more than 15 minutes without it hurting your legs. You could shoot an arrow off of the stitching as it was that taught. The contruction is still good although I did replace the cords with a heavier strap kit. The unit I have was purchased a few years ago, so it may have changed, however I would consider reviewing other double models as this clearly is deeper than wide.
