BEAR Fruit Rolls Strawberry

I was really impressed by the taste and presentation of the real fruit yo-yos. The packaging is totally fun with a lot of great information about the product but also to get you engaged with the brand. I already want to buy more because there are cards to collect from each package and you can send the barcodes in to get another collector's prize! The strawberry fruit rolls are definitely not fruit roll ups or fruit by the foot. They are, however, a natural, healthy alternative to their sugary counter parts. Initially, the lack of sugary sweetness took me off guard, but by the end of the roll, I found myself enjoying the natural fruit flavors much more than I would a classic fruit roll up. I was very excited to try this product for two reasons: 1. I love fruit snacks and 2. strawberry, yum!! I will say I was a bit hesitant about trying it because it's "100% natural" and sometimes it's just not as good as the super processed stuff we are used to. We really enjoyed these fruit rolls. The ingredients are amazing! So much better than some other fruit snacks on the market. We loved the strawberry flavor. The texture was nice, albeit not very chewy. The flavor was mild and not overly sweet. I think the rolls could have been a little wider, but overall good product. That it has no added sugars is great, not quite as healthy as an actual apple or strawberry, but less messy for a car ride. Well this product is clearly marketed to kids, and has a card inside with facts that some kids might enjoy; however, if your kid has had sugar filled fruit snacks before this will likely be a let down. These grow on you as you eat more, and they certainly seem a healthier alternative, but they are not very flavorful. Eating the strawberries directly would taste sweeter than these. I wouldn't buy these again..They hardly taste like strawberries. And leave a metallic after taste on the tongue.. texture is interesting,but thats all folks.They put playing cards inside,to encourage children to buy..If they would do better in flavor the kids would love to eat them.
