Bear & Trees Steel Fire Pit by Patina Products

After weeks of research and 100's of reviews read, I decided to pull the trigger on this firepit. After 4 fires, I dont think I could have made a better purchase. Not only does it looks great (totally rustic and rugged) but it works even better. The cutouts in the side make for great airflow and getting a fire raging is a breeze. As far as quality/durability, this pit is built like a tank. Super sturdy and built to last (I did put sand in the bottom of the pit to prolong its life as suggested on this site). The extras (spark arrester, poker and cover) also work exactly as advertised. DO NOT DESITATE TO PULL THE TRIGGER ON THIS PIT!!! IT WONT DISSAPOINT!

I didn't think it would be this good. I have another pit (star and moon) that I bought at[...]hardware for[$] and it is already worthless after 1 year. Researched the Patina Products models and I am telling you, you get what you pay for. I highly recommend the Patina pit. My wife loves bears and you don't have to put this thing together...

Our family has used this fire pit twice and we really like it. We actually had a Friday night that didn't involve TV watching. The fire pit is very sturdy and arrived quickly. It sits level and does not wobble. It does get a fairly rusty patina if it gets wet. We left ours uncovered to let it cool down, and it rained that night. I think a rub down with fine steel wool will take care of it. But the manufacturer is pretty straight forward about this. We have ours sitting on three ceramic tiles to prevent rust stains on the patio. The cover that comes with it is also very high quality. So glad we didn't buy the one we were looking at from a big box hardware store.

I had searched for a portable fire pit to use for a family campout adventure in our back yard. The local big box stores had some with some of the same features, but the difference in quality of the metal itself was striking. I checked ship weights and yours was 15 lbs heavier, so I knew I was buying quality. Shipping was as quoted, all in all it got here when promised, has performed well, and we couldn't be happier!

This Bear and Tree firpit adds great warmth, style and entertainment to our outdoor living. Its sturdy construction and unique design is a real crowd pleaser. Totally met and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend...

We just set this up outside and used it tonight. We love it. Nice and deep. We put some sand at the bottomw per others recommendations, but i don't think it's necessary. It's very solid metal and while it's a rust color, it turns cauldren black once it's heated up which looks great. No assembly as the legs are welded on. This replaced a much cheaper and shallow pit we've had for years. We love it and it looks like it's durable enough to last a long time.

Great construction, and very sturdy. Great accessories (grill, spark top, handle) Looks and works very well with the cut-outs providing a great way to keep the fire aerated. We use it for outdoor grilling or marshmallow roasting, as well as gathering spot for get togethers.

Bought the pit as a Christmas gift. So we have used it about three times. It is really beautiful when the fire is going. It arrived very promptly for a gift. The accessories that came with it were nice. I didn't have to go out & find them.

I had expected the steel to have some kind of a rust inhibitor that may burn off at firing but would not already be rusty out of the box. Nice sturdy unit with a heavy weight spark screen. Three legs for stability and heavy weighty design to not move around during use such as throwing logs in it and cleaning. Thanks
