This is an excellent book to teach very small children understanding in preositions in language (up, over, under, around, through). It is a fun story of the sneaky curiosity that the bear children experience following a strange sounding call from the woods and children of all ages can identify with. I can remember reading this book as a small child and have read it to each of my children, and am now making sure that all my grandchildren have a copy of this precious and unforgettable childhood book in their home.

My son and I very much enjoyed this book. The pictures were very colorful and it was a perfect time of the year in the fall for a good bedtime story. The Berenstein Bears have always been our favorite. My son has autism and absolutely loves when he gets a new book with the characters that he loves. Happy reading to all.

Weird but Kid loved it
It's really short and doesn't make a whole lot of sense.. HOWEVER my daughter thought is was funny when I read it fast.

Right on
We bought first one in the early 70's for our kids, then anouther for grandkids, and several others for nieces and nephews, now still more for their kids. I have three copies, two are worn out, very good book for the young ones.

Good book but its not a cardboard book
Its a really nice simple book for toddles but its a full size book not a cardboard book, its a hard cover book
