Spend more time creating, and less time programming.
Very easy to use. Watch videos on youtube. Good for writing, practicing and even recording. Well built, real drum sounds. Definitely get an ext. pedal. A lot of variations of genres to choose from. Some of the programmed beats are lame, or useless. I was expecting classic metal drumming, but instead it's sloooow tempoed double bass beats. The punk beats are too choppy. I'm a rocker, play hard rock, classic rock,old school metal, 70's punk, funk, lil' reggae and there are plenty of beats for me to choose from. Also more to download via USB but I'm not there yet. Still fiddlin' with the pedal. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Not bad
The SDRUM lets you make your drum tempo and other styles of the drums. Its not precanned stuff. Its doesn't learn like the SDRUMS or even the TRIO+ lets you design the temp and style.
