excellent bait box
this is the one you want, not the big mesh by danielson. this one has a small mesh where the crabs can't pick at the bait because their claws won't fit through the hole. it will make you bait last a LOT longer. I use it for dungeness crab on the oregon coast, and my bait lasts a LONG time because the crab can't get to it. I decided to buy 5 more for backup.

item not what i was expecting
the item is very well made, but, i thought i was actually buying a crab trap...this is just an insert for your bait to be placed into a crab trap. i guess i did not understand the description nor read it properly?

The best bait cage
Easy transaction and fast shipping But the bait cage is perfect for crab. 1/2" Holes, easy to bait, holds a lot of bait. Made tough will last a lifetime

This crap was meant to catch an attitude!!! No way possible can this be used to catch crabs…. Maybe 1 mini crab at a time. The specification indicated a much larger trap. This is very deceptive. A huge waste of my time and money!!!
