these are so fun!! I bought this as a knock off of some real pottery ones. These are ceramic with a smooth surface. Can't wait to use.

I opted to use them as kitchen utensil canisters and to hold my cookbooks and cutting boards on my kitchen counter. I love them. Eventually when I want to redecorate I could easily transition them to a shelf with flowers and different books.

Where I keep my books doesn't get enough sun for plants but I ended up using them on opposite ends of my window sill. Also, be aware there is no drainage hole so be aware of over watering and root rot. Overall a perfect addition to my plant collection & home decor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bookends were packaged very nicely. I enjoy the color and style. I can see these going with most decor styles. My only complaint is that they are very light. You will need to add some weight inside these for them to hold up books.

The item itself is nice. Good weight. Interesting concept. My issue is with Walmart. Only 1 piece of the two piece item arrived. And it was delayed. Along with the rest of my order. I've never had an order arrive when it said it would from Walmart. Customer service is a pain. Spending 20 min on a chat with a robot is ridiculous. All to have to deal with a return. I just want the item I ordered.
