Beautiful Drew Rattan Media Console with Teched Away Drawer by Drew Barrymore, Black Finish

I purchased this to go with the Beautiful Rattan living room table and I am in love! I put most of it together on my own and needed some help towards the end but the instructions were pretty easy to follow. It’s a great size and looks perfect in my living room! I will probably end up getting the bookshelf to match later on.

Love this tv console! I did assemble alone so it took a couple of hours but the directions and supplies were very well organized. The quality and price of this item is unmatched!

It’s very cute but was a pain to set up and the glue smelled so horrible we thought something was wrong with our dog lol we got it almost finished and we’re pretty excited then saw one of the doors had a pretty deep gash on it. It’s really noticeable. The drawers were also “off” one wouldn’t close all the way but my husband worked with it and figured something out even though we followed the directions to a T.

I’d like to go back and prevent myself from falling for this Beautiful disaster. It truly is stunning, however things don’t exactly line up thus making it difficult to put together. One of the drawer tracks came unattached, loose in the box. No screws, just a track %26 a prayer that there’d be something leftover compatible for installation. Do not let yourself believe that the tiny “screwdriver” included is sufficient to build this beast. I recommend a healthy dose of spite and a power drill to prevent yourself from losing your mind. I’d love to see Drew build this on her talk show. No assistance and no guests until she can successfully build this menace to sanity. Take her picture after it’s built %26 slap that on the box for a true representation of what it’s truly like to “build” this monstrosity.

I’m not one to leave any kind of reviews good or bad but this is just my experience. First of all the glue that came with it is trash, save yourself some time and buy one ahead of time if you’re getting this unit. 2- the drawers and cabinet don’t fit right. 3-I’m glad I only got 1 of the pieces with a little crack in it and not multiple ones like some of the people in the other reviews. Overall it looks okay, I’m just mad about the drawers and cabinets not fitting properly!

Took 3 hours to assemble for 2 people who are avid IKEA furniture builders. This whole cabinet was so cheaply constructed. Each panel was delivered with the corners scraped, dented and pre-colored with a touchup marker (not caused by shipping). The individual pieces have white paper dividers in the box, but the paper sticks to the panels and leaves behind white paper spots all over. It took a plastic razor blade and goo-gone to remove it all. The parts that have pre-assembled sections have excess glue that shows right on the front. At the end when inserting the drawers and hanging the doors, is extremely apparent the predrilled holes throughout the whole process are not in the correct spots but marginally - the reveal around the drawers is too much, the left doors are too tight and rubs but the right doors are perfect. The ball bearing glides are horribly cheap, the left side actually broke upon inserting the drawer (5 balls came loose) and the drawer opens and closes only with force. The right drawer went in easy. When the drawers are fully closed, they still stick out 1/4” and looks like they aren’t closed. Around the various meeting points the particle board is exposed and the included touch-up marker doesn’t reach to actually color it so the brown still shows very obviously. Overall I’m extremely disappointed with the finished look, after how long it took to put together. I would not recommend this cabinet whatsoever, it looks cheap! I’ve bought and assembled tons of BH%26G furniture and it all looks amazing. This is my first Beautiful by DB purchase and I won’t we buying any more.

If you like to glue 40 pieces together in the beginning of furniture building %26 the quality being close to ikea furniture being on sale, this is for you. If you like pulling your hair out, fighting with your partner while building, THIS piece of furniture is for you. Spending $270 is not worth how pretty it is.

Once put together , the drawers are super hard to close flushed and open once closed. The cabinet doors also didn’t line up when using the pre drilled holes. I unscrewed and screwed so many times to get them to line up and ended up giving up. It was also missing a cabinet pull handle and once you put this entire thing up, (which took two days), you aren’t taking it down to return it due to it missing the last piece to the puzzle. Now I’m off to find handles that fit!!!!! If it wasn’t for the horrible assembly and design this would be a beautiful piece for the price.

0/10 don’t recommend. Believe the reviews. I ordered this piece twice. The first box came damaged and the pieces inside were also damaged. I returned it to the store before getting to put it together. I should have left it at that. I ordered a replacement. This box also came damaged however the pieces inside had minimal damage so I decided to proceed. There are SO many pieces. the glue that comes with the console is terrible. It doesn’t keep the pieces together. If you insist on building this, buy some gorilla glue. The holes were not drilled properly so the pieces did not line up. The pieces are really flimsy. Do yourself a favor… pick a different console.

The drawers do not go together well. The glue they provide does not hold them together, and then once you get them together, they are very flimsy. They do not fit into the slots well. The whole piece of furniture is very wobbly. I do not recommend this piece of furniture!
