Beautiful Hands-Free Automatic Battery Powered Electric Can Opener, White Icing by Drew Barrymore

I have used other handheld can openers in the past. This one has proven to function better than my others. Also, the sleek style and attractive color fits well with rest of my kitchen decor. My only complaint is that this item is a little heavier than I would like.

I have arthritis, and this device is hands off once you start it. It makes opening cans simple instead of painful. And I love the color! Con: Really wish manufacturers would start making more devices with USB chargers. This requires batteries, and with large families, I could see them running down quickly.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for someone who is absolutely obsessed with the pink Drew Barrymore kitchen collection, and she squealed with delight when she opened it! I haven't personally used it, but she says it works perfectly and has already made it her go-to can opener. It even has its own dedicated spot in her drawer now. Between the look and the performance, this turned out to be a perfect gift.

I was so disappointed when I started to open a can of Pork and Beans, a few days to discover my can opener, similar to this one no longer worked. I supposed it was because I dropped it on its nose the last time I used it and it never worked after that. I had no ‘old timey' can opener either so I started searching for another similar to it. This one is very similar and I loved how it is made. Simple and easy to operate. I decided to be safe and remove the batteries and put it in the cabinet on the top shelf, because if a someone picked it up wrong they could slice a hand very quickly. That would probably be me. But I can't was it to use it for the first time and see how it does. I love the ease in using them. However, there is one drawback. When it takes the lid off the can, you have a very sharp edge on the can and that can be dangerously, too. Then I saw somewhere that cans with sharp edges should not be put in the trash! Well, I think I will try something I have never done before. After emptying the cab, rinse it out, turn it upside down and take the bottom off also. Then it can be crushed flat either way one big stomp of the foot (if we are careful). Anyway worth a try. A magnet holds the lid until you take it off so that is good too. No cord to fool with, and like hi said, it is on the top shelf of my cabinet for safety. Doesn't take up. Much room so finding storage is easy. When you grab it to I use it, make sure no batteries are in it or you might bf surprised how well it works on flesh.🫤

Besides being beautiful, this cordless, battery operated can opener is truly hands free and pain/ strain free. You set it on the lid, push the button and it rotates to open the can. Couldn't be easier! It's sleek enough to store in a drawer yet beautiful enough to simply leave on the counter without having to have it near an outlet. Works on pop top cans as well. Everyone needs this!

We decided we needed an electric can opener. I had just purchased the toaster under this same brand and was very pleased with the toaster results. The can opener works as promised and very easy to use. We are are older adults and the hand grip is not as firm as it used to be for a hand held opener. This is a nice alternative a,d so easy to use!

The can opener got stuck on the can and literally almost could not get the lid off. Not worth the fight especially if you have bought this for the ease of opening. Customer Support from B was horrible and makes me not want to purchase anything else again. Walmart was great for support

I love the Beautiful line and was excited for this can opener. I've had it for a couple months and have had no issues until today. I opened four cans with it for dinner tonight. When I went to throw away the can I got stabbed in the finger with a little metal sliver. I looked at the top of the other cans and they all had tiny metal slivers. When I used my flashlight I found more on the counter. I threw out our whole meal out of caution for our small children. I never had this issue with the faberware version I had for years before I got this one. I'll be switching back.

It worked once and then quit rotating. I've replaced the batteries and it still doesn't rotate. Waste of money.

This product did not work, but maybe 3 to 4 times. It would not latch on to my cans and if it did, it wouldn't go all the way around the can. I thought it was a battery issue. I replaced the batteries and every time I would go to use it the battery cover would pop off, and the batteries would fall out. I had family members look at it to see if I was doing something wrong and none of us could get the batteries to stay in. Every time I place it on top of a can the batteries fell out. There was nothing wrong with the battery cover. It wasn't cracked or broken. It just wouldn't stay on. I threw it right in the trash. I didn't have time to carry it back or mess with it any longer. I was disappointed it was the first beautiful product I have purchased.
