"Sparkles" are one of the things to look for in meteorites or rocks formed from meteor impacts. This microscope is a must have for that. While the sparkles just look like tiny glitter flakes of different colors, what you see at 1200 X is unbelievable - metallic fragment embeds of different geometries, some accompanied with red or orange micro gems that give a golden color hue to the sparkle. The photos taken the DEBANG are jaw dropping, unfortunately Safari does not let me upload them for this review.

I gave this to my husband for Christmas so he could view details in his rocks collection. He loves it and I have to admit it's pretty impressive. The image on the screen is crystal clear and the option of taking a photo is a plus. The lighting is very good and really helpful.

great once i figured out a minor issue. the power button didnt work, until i put quite a bit of pressure on it. i pushed hard enough to where it felt way too hard then once it worked it has worked great ever since. maybe it was stuck or whatever the issue it works great now.

you can't beat it for the price. It's fun to use. i use it for work, but my son also loves to use it and it's always great for a learning lesson for a 7 year old

A good little digital desktop microscope. User/instruction/setup manual is the best I have seen in past 25 years from China's producers. I could read it better but still had to struggle with MacGyver stuff to read, and therefore, understand it. There were grammar errors but not as many as I have had to struggle with. One very large item …the sales department that made up the sales display has greatly misrepresented the size of the picture it produces. I tried to replicate the pic they display as being on their sales display screen image. There is no zoom in/out control software. Nothing mentioned in the USER MANUAL would download on my MS laptop WIN11. I did finally get a “USB CAMERA” WIN11 sub-app to load %26 it did function but there was an issue with that. WIN11 has a basic embedded app named “USB Camera”, note the difference in the app title I ended up using verses the basic embedded app. I think I can create a simple fix (?) but I am not so unhappy with the product enough to RETURN the item. And, I will try to contact their website to see if they have a selection of longer upright camera support poles or a lens setup with image focus %26 zoom in/out controls.

It gives a clear image and you can zoom in quite close. However, I expected to be able to digitally zoom on the image without moving the camera- but you can't. At least I can't see a way to do it. It appears that you have to move the camera up and down the post to make the image larger and manually focus after each move. It's a little clunky but it does work.

The item is difficult to put together. The screws are almost too short. Also, a Philips's screwdriver is needed %26 is not included. Also, the item must be charged before it can be used, %26 the charger is NOT included. A charger must be purchased separately. This information is NOT known when purchasing. Customer only discovers these AFTER receiving the item. I was EXTREMELY disappointed with this purchase!!! 😢

was suppose to be good for coins. unfortunately could not get photo of entire half or silver dollar. able to view nice magnification but if cant get photo of coin pretty much worthless to a coin collector. imagine be great for small bugs.

I've been sitting here for an hour trying to finish assembling my B bang LCD digital microscope I've been following the instruction manual and it's very difficult to see some of the pictures. I want to know if there's a video because I cannot find how to finish the assembly.

My order was missing a part so that I can't use the purchase. Additionally you need to be an electrical engineer to be able to put it together. Very complicated for me. I highly WOULD NOT recommend this product.
