Have used the standard bed buddy for years, but this one is even better as it is flat and with strap easy to wrap around back. Love it.

Love this to keep me warm, but they smell like burnt popcorn when heated...I can live with it as I love the heat they produce

I bought one of these years ago, exactly as pictured. It has three solid strips of heating beads, so the beads can't shift around and the pad become lopsided. That's what I thought I was getting when I ordered this one as that is what is pictured. Instead I received what I can only imagine is an updated version with new stitch design. It appears the beads could shift from top to bottom as the stitching is not closed off on the sides. If everything else remains the same as the original, then this will be great. My original is fantastic and did wonders for my son when he had back spasms and then during treatment for a stress fracture in his lower back. I'm giving 3 stars right now for design change alone. I'll update with a higher rating, if beads remain in place and the pad does not become lopsided.
