This is a really nice looking clock. It's exquisite but not overdone. It keeps time very well, has 3 different "melody themes", and one "chime only" theme. The craftsmanship and finish is very well done, and a perfect complement to espresso, or any dark wood finshed furniture. But read the description carefully. It says it's a "brown oak finish". That's just what it is, it's not made of oak. But it is made of wood, probably pine. The volume control could have a bit more range. Even on the lowest setting it's louder than expected, and you need to remove the batteries from the chime to turn it off. The clock also takes 4 batteries, not two as advertised. Two for the chime and two for the pendulum and clock. Although it doesn't say it in this description, I've read in other reviews from different sites that this has an "auto off" feature which disables the chime between 9pm and 6am. To be clear, it does not. It could however use a switch to enable a programmable feature to allow for quite time. If it had such a switch, I would have given it a 5 star rating. Don't misunderstand me, this is a very nice and well made clock, and none of what I find fault in should be considered a deal breaker. This is a very nice clock at a very fair price!! Their simply features that would greatly improve on an already good design.

Nice clock! Perfect size! Quality could be slighter better. It's made in China. My main issue was the battery compartment for the chime was not screwed in properly which prevented me from putting the second battery in. I adjusted it with a screwdriver to make it work. There was also some small scuffs on the wood bu nothing to make me want to return it.

It was made poorly and did not work at all. Very disappointed. Wayfair told me to trash it and were very good about refunding my money .
