A few days ago in the wee hours of the morning a disabled member of our household had a struggle getting out the bed and making it to the restroom . It was scary and made them cry .i immediately knew we needed a better commode than that thing Medicaid had provided I saw this on Walmart and read the reviews . I took a chance . It is plastic which is good because it's portable. It comes with foot things made of a gripping rubber makes it not slide , many ppl have had accidents with the cheaper standard model plus they look weird and continuously make the person using rather embarrassed. When it came assembly was so simple I didn't even bother to read the instructions it's that simple . It looks better in person than in the picture and that's usually vice Versa . We added a privacy screen for morale and modesty . This is a must have item if you have a somewhat independent person who just needs to make their life more accessible for basic body functions. I crossed referenced other sites but I am a Wally's World customer and we buy grocery's , some electronics from Walmart and usually pick them up . They used Fed Ex it came undamaged and it sets up easy . For a person of normal weight range it is as comfortable as a portable toilet is expected to be , Quite sturdy and can be kept clean by simply wiping down with Lysol or whatever . It had two baskets and liners we have a small garbage pail next to it so it can be changed out without leaving the person using it unprotected in case it's a time of gastro distres a mounted push button light to provide extra security it comes with a light but something at arms lreach is more security and a sense of comfort .This hopefully takes the stress off of a person in the middle of the night and leaves them with dignity , respect and comfort . I'm so thankful we have this . I decorated the area as best as I could for now .
