BEE & FLOWER, SOAP,SANDALWOOD 4.4 OZ

Been using this soap since the mid 1970s - love it! but hard to find locally now - delighted to find it with free shipping via Walmart site but quantity said 1(one) - assumed - foolish me - that meant 1 dozen bars of the 4.4 oz size, since that's comparable to prices on Amazon & ebay - NOPE! only 4 bars in the package! for the price I paid that is ridiculous! It wasn't listed as $17.35, as it is today, when I bought it, it was $22.45

I have been using this beautiful soap since 1969 ! It sort of disappeared off the radar for decades and low and behold! popped up on the SWANSON website. Showertime joy on the cheap: the sandalwood aroma is heavenly and it lathers so well that I also use it for shaving too. Not listed as organic and who really knows about China's manufacturing practices? But a very satisfying product nonetheless.

I love this soap. I really like the fact that when you rinse it off, it is gone, but the scent remains and it does not interfere with my perfume. I have used this soap for a long time and was glad that I found it at a great price. I received it in a timely manner and the customer service rep was a pleasure to work with.

Maybe it is the fragrance or the fact that this soap is soft...I can use it any time of the year and my skin does not dry out. I have even used it to take Halloween makeup off and it leaves no stain. The smell of the sandalwood is what I like the most. I used to buy it by the case but I won't tell you how much I paid!

I had been looking to try this line of soap for awhile and had just seen it on sale, so it was time. I ordered the Sandalwood. First impression: packaging is beautiful. Scent outside the package: kind of weird, couldn't pick up sandalwood as I knew it. Lather: nice job lathering. Scent w/lather: could not really pick up the sandalwood as I knew others to be. After shower: Could not find much scent at all that remained. I have a nose like a bloodhound but just could not find the plus in this scent. Would not buy again, did not expect so faint a scent during and after the shower. May try another brand that was mentioned in some of the other reviews.

This product did not have a Sandalwood smell, it actually had more of a medical smell, similar to a bar of Hospitol soap. I was very disappointed, especially since the medium sized soap bar was quite pricey. I will say the product did have a nice consistency and a nice lather, but the lack of that sandal wood smell was a deal breaker.

lister is deceptive by using "(s)" at the end. this is a single bar. ive honestly never seen it sold by the bar except in a china-town shop where it costs $2. I must have read wrong - I thought this was a 4 pack, nope, 1 bar, $7 and weeks of waiting for a single bar of china-town soap. yes I love this soap but I'm super disappointing with this order.

I have purchased a lot of different brands of sandalwood soap. This smells nothing like it at all?To me it smells like something you wouldmight pick up at a Dollar Tree store. Smell it and put it back on the shelf.. I love shopping with Walmart. But this brand needs to be pulled...yuck!

Did not like the fragrance. Not what I expected.
