Great Idea, but an amazing purchase

Scarlettrose December 29, 2025

While it was a tad bit on the pricey side, it was well timmed so most of it was meat. I simmered in the crock pot on low all night. It tender and juicy. i was pleased as was the whole family. It was a delightful, delicious treat.

Tasty. Cooked Right, Very Tender %26 Juicy

Rhonda January 11, 2025

Most excellent. Cooked slowly, this hefty brisket is tender and delicious. --- It's a big cut. I have been able to put 6-lbs into brine for corned beef, and then did a few pounds of ground in both coarse and fine grind for things like chili, spaghetti and then finer for making meatballs and dumplings. I packed a couple of pounds, essentially a herbed/spiced 'slurry' with pistachios and olives, into a meat press to make an approximation of a mortadella and will be doing that again! --- The brisket is so tasty! And my shopper chose a beautiful cut. If you don't mind setting aside a few hours to process the meat this works out to be a very cost effective way to keep beef on the table a few times a month. Good stuff!

Whole brisket

Marcia September 28, 2025

I had never bought a whole brisket before and I never will again. I knew I would have to trim it but there was over 5 lbs of fat and that was before it was cooked! I prepared it the way I always do and it was pretty tasteless.

Bad Cuts, more fat less meat

John March 2, 2026

these are getting smaller and now they cut the most meaty part off and leave the one with more fat, here we go with the bullsht again

A lot of FAT

Jonelle January 1, 2026

Too much fat on this piece. 6lbs exactly out of a 15lb brisket. The quality is great and I will render the fat to make it useful. Just be warned.

Very tough

Julene December 26, 2025

I have cooked a LOT of briskets in my lifetime. I have NEVER had one that turned out like a tough roast, until this one.

This was the very first time I had Walmart shopper, shop for my brisket and I got it delivered because I was in a horrible auto accident and can't drive right now. Normally, Walmart has been my go to for brisket. I have never got a bad one until now.... Lesson learned

Too much fat no value

Greg February 11, 2025

I know that this is not trimmed but this one is at least half fat. The pricing per pound is equal to Smart and Final but yours is Select but Smart and Final is Choice.
