These steak strips were perfect! I tried my hand at making beef broccoli for the first time ever in my slow cooker based off an online recipe. The recipe was not a hit with us but the steak sure was!!! It was fall-apart tender after six hours of slow cooking and enjoyed by all. I loved that there was no fat left on them.
i thought i'd explore other meat avenues besides the $35 steak I have treated myself to every few months for a few years now. With the price going up and the quality going down ( sounds like the whole trend lately 2026. thank you Dear Leader) these strips seemed a good choice and it WAS. THESE ARE DELICIOUS!! The meat was super fresh and juicy. i chopped up a bunch into little mini-tiny-steaks and marinated them in some steak sauce and Worcestershire and a little vinegar and a little olive oil...a dash of soy for sugar caramelizing. i popped a can of buiscuts open and melted a little butter with minced garlic and a tad of salt. Spooned a bit of the butter in the bottom of each large muffin well. Split the biscuit layers and put one half in bottom. top with a few meat chunks, run butter aroundthe edge, top with other half of raw biscuit, squish the edges together. brush tops with garlic butter. bake till slightly past golden brown. top with brown gravy and demolish and i still have 6 meals of meat left. delish!
These are expensive, but well worth buying if you want a very good-quality, lean steak. I like that they're on the thinner side (but not too thin), so they are easy to cook. I cook mine in a skillet and they're done in a couple of minutes on each side. They give you just the right amount for two people, too. Good flavor
This is Agnus meat. I think it's from an animal called a beef. I think it's like a yak or a goat. It might be named after my aunt Agnus but it doesn't taste like her.
Can make a lot of easy quick dinners. Very tasty. Try different colored peppers, sweet onions, jalapeños, with taco seasoning with the steak strips served with cheese in a tortilla.
- Freshness %26 Texture: These steak strips come impressively fresh and tender right out of the tray. The marbling is moderate, which helps retain juiciness without being overly fatty. - Flavor Profile: When seared or grilled, they develop a rich beefy flavor that pairs beautifully with sautéed onions, peppers, and melted provolone in a hoagie roll. - Convenience: Pre-cut into manageable strips, they’re ideal for quick weeknight meals. No trimming or slicing needed—just season and cook. - Versatility: While they shine in hoagies, they’re also great for stir-fries, fajitas, or steak salads. -Cooking Tips: - Best Method: Quick sear on high heat for 2–3 minutes per side. Don’t overcook—medium-rare to medium keeps them juicy.
Not recommended simply due to the price; nothing else was influencing my decision. The meat tasted great, but 15 dollars when I could buy a cheap sirloin and slice it up myself? And I fell for it! LOL Its my own fault for not looking too closely at the price until I got the receipt!!
did not receive this in my order. i was missing $80 worth of stuff out of $150 bill. walmart refuses to deliver missing items or give me credit or refund. i then had to spend the $80 to order the missing items again but this time through king soopers. so $150 order turned in to $230.
it looked bad, and the shopper could have done better choosing of meat we did not even get tnings like the roasted chicken we were suppose to have for dinner but it took 4 hours and it was after nine when we finnally got it and the fresh and meat was just bad 👎
i was very upset with the substitution i ordered sirlion steaks you substituted with sirloin strips this will not work for my recipe i now have to go out and buy the correct items gor a higher price then what i would have payed. not to mention another 45 min drive to the stores
