Animal fat is good for you!!!

Leslie July 17, 2025

This is one of my favorite less expensive steaks. It has plenty of good, healthy animal fat. Spread the news! Animal fat is not bad for you! Unfortunately, they featured this steak on the Kelly and Mark show so now the price will probably go up as people will be rushing to buy it.

This is the best steak I have ever had! Beats steak houses hands down. I just ordered 3 more! It's always hard to find because they can't keep it stocked. I simply cannot say enough about this cut of meat and quality. Treat yourself! I will take the Chuck Eye over a filet or rib eye any day!

Chuck Eye Beef Steak

Anonymous April 7, 2026

I love steak so it's hard to spend the money for steaks. They are so expensive nowadays. I had a craving for a steak, so I bought these Chuck Eye Beef Steaks that came 2 in a pack. After seasoning for a while, I plopped the butter in the skillet and seared them. They were very very tasty. It had the right amount of fat on the steak. It could have been a little thicker, but it was a perfect meal for 2.

Why does a beef named Chuck have such a delicious

Dido March 5, 2026

I never thought I would like eating the eye of a beef named Chuck but man this was tender. It doesn't even look like an eyeball but maybe that's for the best. I really appreciated the little bits of grisle in the center. They added some bite and nothing reminds you more of what you're eating than when it bites you back. I just wish I had reversed seared it rather than searing before popping it in the oven.

tasty but expensive

Shannon February 23, 2026

With prices being what they are these are a decent alternative to getting good sized steaks when you're feeding a family. These are great with proper or no seasoning. They are tender when prepped properly. They can be great as a snack because of their tiny size or in or beside a salad I gave a 5 stars because the meat quality is good. I gave 3 stars for the value for the money. Not long ago I could get a 2" thick, bone in cut large enough to feed 3 adults (2 who are men) for what these cost. Very sad

Chuck Eye Beef Steak, 2 per Tray

Michael February 24, 2026

I absolutely love these stakes...after I purchased the internal meat thermometer and started cooking to the suggested safe internal temperature these stakes take on a whole new flavor and tenderness. When these steaks are cooked right you will think you are at a 5 star restaurant they taste sooo good. When I do mine I use the smaller yellow potatoes and usually bake 3 smaller potatoes and make a salad. WHAT A DINNER...

Wal-Marts Chuck Eye Fresh Beef Steak 2 Pack:

Anonymous April 16, 2026

I usually don't consume beef. My doctor's want me to eat much more food protein, due to a bad cancer to gain weight and strength for treatments. Chicken is my go to with occasional tilapia and albacore tuna. Except I'm getting really tired of my choices. Due to the high cost of beef, I needed to find a cut I could afford. This nicely cut Chuck Eye was good, just enough fat for flavoring. It looked like it was just butchered that day. It was done two days before. I cooked it in the oven on foil, seasoned and lightly sprayed with pure avocado oil. If I had a choice of a beef cut I would have had a nice ribeye. Not being possible, I had an excellent fresh tender steak cut with a salad and asparagus. I've already reorded another Chuck Eye steak pack.

I was looking for something quick and easy and these steaks were just the ticket. A bit of dry rub %26 tossed them on the Foreman grill. The taste %26 tenderness were excellent though one of them was a bit on the fatty side. I'd buy this again and recommend it.

this is the smallest chuck ever. very fatty and not in a good way. i recommend slow cooking it for at least six hours and heavily season this thing. The only way it was semi tasty was to shred after it is cooked, add BBQ sauce and serve on buns. But this is only if you HAVE to buyit. I don't recommend at all.
