The block is nice for cutting up in smaller bags. Its a great value for grass fed tallow, and the shipping is fast and secure in the box. I've ordered this a few times, the only bad thing is purchasing it in summer, but once in the fridge it hardens back up.

Great Quality and Perfect for Mixing with Venison This beef tallow has been excellent. I bought the 50-pound box and have been really happy with the quality and consistency. It mixes perfectly with deer meat when grinding, giving the meat the right amount of fat and making the flavor and texture much better. It's also been great for cooking. The tallow melts down nicely and works well for frying and other dishes. If you process your own venison or like cooking with traditional fats, this is a great product and a really good value for the amount you get.

i use this for soap %26 cosmetic use for our small business and its great! i package it in vacuum sealed bags and store in freezer until needed. its soft when @ room temp (more like coconut oil). its very white, no odor, clean i rarely find any of the tallow impurities in it. its def worth the price. although the price does fluctuate a LOT! i keep an eye on it and try and get it for cheaper. i can order off walmart and get it delivered within a few days. if i order off ED website, the price is cheaper but when you pay shipping its about same cost. And ED takes longer to ship. so i always buy it from Walmart online! i highly recommend!

We use this for deep frying at home. It has been great, and we will definitely be ordering again. We put it in an airtight container and was fine for the 4 months it took us to use.

Unfortunately, this tallow has a strong smell making it unsuitable for using in skin care products like I had hoped. I used a whole bottle of vanilla fragrance oil and couldn't overpower the beefy smell of the tallow. It's a good price, but ultimately I had to return it
