Pricey, lacking dams, very effective
I caught a carpenter bee within 12 hours of hanging up on my porch. It says only attracts carpenter bees, but I also caught a yellow jacket and a fly, I'm not mad about either being caught. Only con is it should come with at least 3 bee dams, for the price. Having to make another purchase, on a diff site, for 1-2 more is wild to me and 3 is not a crazy amount. Other than that, 5 star rating. It is very light and prob cost 5$ to make, but idk how to make one so 20$ was worth it to me.

This carpenter bee trap works great in the Spring! I had 3 traps and used them for 3 years and replacing them (falling apart due to weather, climate %26 use) Spring of 2026. I have trapped over a 100 (in just one trap) carpenter bees in these traps. Follow the directions. Do Not Paint and leave captured bees alone for a few days before emptying the trap. It works! VH

well I don't know haven't had it out very long maybe it's in the wrong spot or maybe I have done bees dumb bees having trapped anything yet but we'll keep trying

Just Say No To Wood Boring Carpenter Bees!
No glass to break and caught carpenter bees within the first warm day they were swarming our deck. Though I'm not concerned by them my spouse is highly allergic and terrified and them so instead of just me and my trusty badminton racquet, we incorporated this trap into our control plan.

Fantastic works great
It not only trapped carpenter bees but wasps and yellow jackets too. Didn't leave any bees to pollinate my plants!!!

Not worth the money
Arrived cracked on one corner, very small, cheap plastic bottom, and hasn't caught one bee in over a week. Even tried a couple of locations but bees ignore it. Total waste and still bees all over...

i have this for a couple weeks near and close to the area the bees are working making holes and not caught one bee

This trap doesn't work. Left it set up for 1 month. Very near to nest and never caught any carpenter bees. Don't buy it zero results.👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
