1st time, the suction cups didn't stick to the shower tile. I then wiped the tiles and suction cups with windex, air dried, and smoothed a little Vaseline on the outer edge of the cups to prevent water from seeping in. I let it sit overnight. The handles stayed in place and haven't moved. The suction is strong and the handles are very sturdy. I check them everyday to ensure they are on tight. It's been 2 weeks and still in place.

Love these grab bars! They're replacements for me, had my (different make) old ones about ten years and they were well worn and discolored from wear. Easily installed these with my arthritic hands and am delighted with how easily they stick, as well as looking great.

I was so disappointed in this product when I first tried to get it to adhere to my shower wall. It kept falling off, I was so bummed!! I was ready to go to all of the trouble to send it back because what good was it??!! Then I got to thinking, "Why were all of the reviews so positive?Surely I'm not the only one who can't seem to get the darned thing to stick on my wall! " So, I read further into the comments and one person mentioned they had the same experience until they placed a small film of vaseline onto the round plastic suction cups. I was desperate enough to try this strange suggestion. Guess what? My wonderful, safe grab bars are still securely on my wall!!! I wish someone from this company would read the comments and CLEARLY give this advice ON THE BOX. It sure would solve many problems for all!!!

I purchased these for an elderly friend who has trouble with balance. She likes them so much that she asked me to order one more for a different place in her shower.

if you need to hold onto something to get in and out of the bathtub then these are a great option. Suction cups adhere well and will hold to get in and out of the shower.

This would not stay suctioned to the shower wall. The wall surface has to be smoothed with no texture at all to keep a good seal. It should say this in the product details.

The product slips while I'm in the showers I almiost fell and I'm older. It's very hard to take off with the little tabs they have on them.

I bought these for use in my bathroom as we have a newly installed, deeper tub. They seem to install fine but as soon as I put ANY pressure on them, they came right off the wall. I cleaned the wall and made sure there was nothing in the way. I even tried them on my 24” tile wall in the shower but they won't hold on. I returned them immediately.

one of the pair does not stay suctioned. Shower wall is completely smooth firm surface and clean, tried in different places still does not hold overnight.
