Purchased for my 9 year old granddaughter. She loves it ! Folds for transport. Wheels are larger than previous scooter but she wanted the light up version. Seems sturdy so hopefully holds up for a long time.

I ordered what I thought was a scooter. Turns out it was just the light. In my defense, at the time I purchased, there were several (4 or 5) options of different scooters. Each had multiple pictures and each featured the light. However, the specific scooter I thought I was ordering was the only one that was just the light. Also, the specifications said it was 8.8 pounds. I would like to note that the listing has been updated. That being said, one of our older kids was wanting a light similar to this for his scooter. We gave him the option to keep it, or we would return it, and he could get the initial light he was looking at for his birthday. He opted to keep it. The light is nice. It has 11 multicolor modes and does not need any tools to install it. It's battery operated. It takes 3 AA batteries. We often use rechargeable batteries. They don't last as long, but since they are reusable, they keep us from having to constantly buy batteries. While we were initially disappointed in what we received, it ended up working out.
