BelGioioso Freshly Shredded Parmesan Cheese, 8 oz Bag

I LOVE that it has clean ingredients!! I keep buying this brand and this cheese because other cheeses have added ingredients that aren’t healthy for your gut to preserve the flavor or inhibit mold. I say just buy it fresh and clean and use it up quickly so you and your gut are happy :)

When I don't have the time to grate my own block or wedge of this excellent cheese this is my choice. I'm not adding to the world's already ridiculous amount of hard plastic killing off the oceans and the cheese is freshly grated to I can't find a reason to buy anything else.

These guys as ‘Bel' (I'm not gonna try to spell the whole name correctly!) are my go-to for Parmesan cheese — I don't do Kraft cuz even though Kraft is less expensive it doesn't taste the same as ‘Bel' so even though ‘Bel' isn't as good value for money I gotta spend the extra dough to get the taste I'm looking for.

This is the second time I bought this cheese. It is deliciously fresh and I put it on just about everything! Maybe a bit more expensive than I would normally pay, but I think it is worth the extra money. There is no comparison between this cheese and the ones in the plastic shaker containers.

So very glad Walmart carries at a decent price. We use, mostly, as topping on salads, melted on breads and in dip. This is finely shredded cheese. A source of protein, milk and flavor. No fillers or preservatives. Requires refrigeration and says to use after opening with in 3-5 days. From experience mine lasts longer than that without molding.

the date expires in just a few days so whoever shop for me did not look at the dates first of all so I'm going to have to return it and pick another one because the dates are getting ready to expire secondly when they brought it everything out to my car they weren't in any bag he was just going to sit all my items in the car so it's not his fault cuz he's just walking to the car but who is the person that is supposed to put my items together they did not put my items in a bag at all my my all my items were just handed to me

You would think that Aged Parmesan cheese would last? It used to. Not this one...I opened the bag and used very little...and just sprinkled from the bag and didn't even put my fingers inside the bag to contaminante it and put back in the fridge. When I went to use it again...it was a bag of mold! Once air hit it...it spoiled! Down the drain went all the money I paid for this better quality Parmesan...or so I thought I was paying for. Quality. I've thrown away more cheese lately than I've eaten from Walmart. It makes me wonder if it sits unrefrigerated in the store for a long time before I buy it? Groceries are expensive to buy especially when they are going bad immediately. Cheeses should hold up better than a one time use. You open it, air hits it, it goes bad?! :( Why is this happening? I saw a few others posting about this problem on here with Walmart cheeses.

This is NOT shredded Parmesan cheese - this is a bag of shredded parmesan rinds! it's the product you find at the end of the wedge that sort of tastes like Parmesan cheese but hard like Wax! Your teeth actually hurt from chewing it! BelGioioso should be ashamed that they make this product and try to pass it off as actual Parmesan cheese!
