BelGioioso Romano Cheese Wedge, Specialty Hard Cheese, 8 oz Refrigerated Plastic Packet

My husband is Italian from Sicily. We can great nothing on top of our Sunday sauce except Romano cheese. My grandson holds his nose and thinks it's smelly but we keep telling them it's so good when he gets older we're sure that he will want it on top of his spaghetti too.

When it comes to quality, freshness and price, you cannot beat Walmart! I highly recommend having your groceries delivered to your home. The people who do the shopping are the same person who will make the delivery. They will text you if an item is out of stock, asking you if you would like a substitute? You know the person's name who is shopping for you. When they start shopping and the delivery time. "All very professional." I could never see myself ever doing major grocery shopping again. We have to learn to be kind to ourselves!

I made a recipe for the first time using this cheese (grated) and everyone was drooling over the taste. I tried grated cheese (including Pecorino Romano and we always had leftovers that weren't eaten whereas everyone woke up wanting the leftover chicken made with this cheese. Unfortunately, there was only enough for one and I am the early riser...

Delicious cheese. I actually melted it down in a saucepan with some butter and heavy cream to make a kind of a sauce for my pasta. It was absolutely delicious. You can also just shredded. Use it on anything as a topping. Which we have done once before. Add it to burritos, pasta toast, all sorts of things. Make things a little extra creamy with it and just sprinkle it right on

This cheese is my backup that I order because Walmart doesn't carry an authentic Italian PECORINO ROMANO block cheese. It's good, but not what we would expect to use in our Italian recipes.

I recently Started grating/shredding my own cheeses. I found this cheese to be a huge flavor boost over the pre grated dried out parm in the green bottles.

We love this Romano cheese. I am Sicilian and used to having authentic cheese. This cheese tastes so much like what I remember. We keep Romano cheese in our house all the time and this one is a must.

Love the taste and texture for grated on spaghetti and burritos. It melts and is wonderful on hot food but is also perfect for grating on salads. My family never uses store bought grated cheese as it doesn't seem to taste or feel right for recipes.

Good flavor, not overpowering/overwhelming and pretty tasty. I love to shred it for a fresh topper for chicken parm, homemade Alfredo or any number of Italian dishes. I will also grab grapes to pair it with for a fresh and tasty snack to munch on.

Can I die from eating too much cheese! I like this cheese on pizza, spinach, spaghetti, broccoli, well just about on anything. It has a zesty flavor. It's my MSG for foods. Smiley face lip licking emoji!
