You can pay less for the ones on Amazon but they don't work, the plug blade to the iPhone is too small to maintain proper connection. This one WORKS.

Just what I needed I can answer phone calls also without changing anything 😃

Expensive but good.

It works, and expect it will work when I can get back in my car and listen to music from iPhone while charging phone. So far I am sheltered in place, so won't know for sure how it works or if it will fail. The device I bought on line from another manufacturer failed after couple of months. Belkin was much more expensive so assume it will be higher quality..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second purchase of this item. The cord near the part that connects to my phone wears down and frays. I'm upset that the cord isn't made more rugged. I own 2 of these Y jacks and in both the same problem with fraying. It is an expensive item. I tried to buy similar Y-Jacks but the quality of the clones is terrible. My Belkin jacks lasted about 4 years and still work despite the fraying. Though with an inherent weakness in the durability of the cable, Belkin Rockstar is the best on the market.

I saw this on a write up on yahoo and was skeptical at first. Previous adapters like this that I had purchased stopped charging shortly after buying or wouldn't be able to use ghe mike function. I bought this and have had zero issues so far. Charged my phone and can use the headphones and mic as well. Worth the price you pay as now I don't need to worry about my battery dying while using the headphones.

PROS Nothing extraordinary about it but the Belkin dongle is definitely one of the best products out there compared to other dongles. I haven’t had it for too long (about two weeks) but it seems to be better quality than any of the other third party dongles I’ve had. I’ve got faith that it won’t short out on me after a few months like the others since it is Apple certified. Personally I think paying the extra 10-20 bucks is worth it, durability has a price. CONS It’s bulkier and longer than I’d like and the wire is so thick that it doesn’t want to bend much which leads to it sticking out of your pockets. Those are my only complaints so far there hasn’t been any features on my phone it hasn’t worked with.

Sadly, the product is not holding up like it used a few years ago. My last two lasted me maybe a month. Most unfortunately, I have been waiting 2 months for warranty replacement.
