This bed is literally a small house for my daughter. She is a very tall three year old, so I purchased this bed for her early 4th birthday present. Knowing she wouldn't have been comfortable in a twin sized bed so I purchased a full sized bed and I am in love!!!!! I do have to say that the top part is very flimsy so make sure no one tries to climb and the drawers could have been stationary.

The product instructions were simple. The pieces were well packed to avoid damage during shipment. It took about 3 hours to assemble. Certain parts required 2 people to assemble. Overall a great bed for our 8 year old, and he loves all the book/toy storage areas.

Arrived damaged with piece broken. Also when assembling one for the types of screws used kept stripping making it very difficult to put together. There was one section on the back shelf where the screw hole was not drilled correctly and I couldn't get the screw in. Overall, I love the design of the bed but it was a hassle to put together and I enjoy assembling future as long as all the pieces work

The frame is really sturdy. Holes and other pieces don't match together at times. Very little dents and scratches already on the frame from travel. The slats for the roof don't line up so a few screws came off out the wood leaving blemishes. Same thing with the back board for the top shelf. One part of the instructions you will for sure need a partner or if you are like me just figure it out on your own. There was no way the pieces were going to stay together like the instructions tell you while you did the next steps. I got it together in a few hours. I have toddlers and infants to care for while doing it. I totally recommend using a hand drill with the proper pieces to put it together. The tool they sent works up to a point. Would recommend bed. Holes are also not in places that they should be and shouldn't be. Daughter loves it very much.

Some of the boards do not line up with the holes that were pre drilled. I had 2 boards break easily while putting the bed together. The drawers on the bottom are basically free rolling around. I wanted them to be more in place than they are.
