This bunk bed is exactly what I was looking for. There's no space under the bed for clothes or toys to hide under. It's a lot shorter than the previous one I purchased so the kids aren't up as high. %26 it's a lot easier to make their beds now! Definitely needs AT LEAST 2 people whereas the last one I was able to put together myself.
Easy and straight forward to assemble. Fits the mattresses well. A tad wobbly but great for the kids. Good buy for the price.
Need 2 people to assemble it. So worth it though. It fits perfect. I couldn't be happier. Very good quality. Great Price!
easy to set up
It is a good sturdy bed for kids. The ladder unfortunately is uncomfortable on the feet when grandsons climb up to top bunk. And you need a box spring for your bottom mattress unless you don't mind your mattress being in the floor as it doesn't come with slats for the bottom bunk. Other than those two things it's a great buy.
Walmart communicated about shipment accurately. It arrived one day later than first expected in one long intact package that was heavy but easy for two regular strength people to lift and move. All metal parts of bed were packaged well. 2 instruction manuals provided with pictures for steps only. It was mostly easy and quick to assemble and most work could be one by one person. Unfortunately, only 3 "B" size screws were provided when 6 were needed to install ladder. I took a screw and step for ladder to the hardware store to find a match and did for about $1.50 for 3 screws with the correct threads that would tighten. This solution actually worked better because the flat screw head secured with a wrench instead of the hex piece which was a better tool to use to secure in the space between the right side of the ladder and the right front pole. I reached out to the company for replacement parts and to refund my shipment cost for the hassle and haven't heard back. Note that the queen mattress is on the floor but within frame so it doesn't move. There is a slight sway when climbing to the top bunk but does not feel unsafe for one child or seem to disrupt sleep. Because of the low profile, there is plenty of space for upper bunk for a child to sit up and read. After a few days use, I am overall happy with the purchase for the price. We will see how it holds up over time!
Really wobbly sad face
after putting the frame together, there are no metal slats for the bottom mattress. how do i get the metal slats
Missing pieces. Replacement was sent but took awhile and just caused a huge inconvenience
