There were about 4 times that the movie had a brief pause, during the length of the movie. The movie itself is exceptional.

lovely movie
I rented this movie before I bought it and knew that it would make it to my permanent collection. This is a very good movie about the hardships of slavery and what my ancestors had to go through. I very much recommend this film.

DVD package was horrible!!! Look used!!! I thought I was getting a new one at the price I paid. Very disappointed!!! The only reason I will not be returning it is because I love the movie. Haven't opened it yet but I the DVD doesn't look like the outside case!!! Not to mention, now it's cheaper!!! Really disappointed!!!
