This Amp wiring kit is very easy to install and has ALL the necessary connectors to hook it up. Excellent bargain as it was included with my amp purchase, so the price was definitely the best part. Would highly recommend. Good quality wires included.
I was going to get a different amp install kit but this one was 50% off with my purchase so I decided to try it out. The kit comes supplied with everything needed to install most amplifiers. The lengths were sufficient for my install and everything looks to be of great quality. Shipping was extremely quick and well packaged.
worked perfectly for my 8 channel amplifier. A lot cheaper than the audio store prices, and zero difference.
Cables all work and ties keep everything tidy. Plenty of extra length in a Mazda 3. My 5ch amp RMS power draw with volume all the way up should be under 360w (realistically under 250 when not trying to go deaf) so this should be more than sufficient. Pros: Cables all sufficiently long for my installation. Everything included made the install quick and easy. Only 8ga so the wires aren't super stiff allowing for easy routing. Cons: None so far. Other: Hopefully never need to test the fuse 60A rating.
Nice kit for the money. Very easy material to work with and came with everything needed.
This is a solid wire kit for the money, flexible cables, decent quality terminals, true to size power and ground. Only part I don't like is the fuse holder isn't the best quality but it gets the job done. At this price point I don't have any complaints. I will be buying it again for myself or others that aren't looking to run a super powerful system. I am using this in a sq build, it's running a couple old school Orion amps, using a fused distribution block. Only wiring I had on hand to compare it to was a Rockville 4ga cca kit old cadence 4ga ofc and some sky high 4ga ofc It has the flexibility of the sky high (jacket),more copper than the Rockville and is the same size as the cadence. Definitely worth while.
I was not a fan of the speaker wire being solid red, I prefer a distinction between the positive and negative sides so I just put some electrical tape around the end I used for negative. Also, I haven't used much of this kit because I had a preexisting stereo installed already (I only got it because it came free with something else I purchased) but for a “3000” watt rated electrical setup I think the power/ground cables showed have been thicker… 1/0 or 4amg but they looked a lot smaller. Could be wrong though like I said I didn't need to use them so I didn't look too closely.
Normally I use OFC but this kit was free for a starter system and has been running good since install. Wires are nice and flexible, lightweight and pretty well jacketed.
The power and ground wire are fine , speaker wires are interesting. One side has square and the other is round which makes it very easy to know what you hooking up to what. Came with everything it was supposed to.
Did not have RC Cables but other then that it was a good kit and easy to use
