I like everything about, well it suits the subwoofers i'm using.
This box is surprisingly well built. Serious bang for the buck. Carpet is high quality, the connectors are solid and work great. I put an image dynamics ID10 in it and it is doing great several years later.
great for any project . very nice
very well built. Would buy again if needed.
Not much can really be said about a sub enclosure, other than it does its job well. My Rockford Fosgate P1S2-10 fit in snuggly. The only thing that was a tad iffy was that when drilling once the bit went through it would catch of the inside insulation and mess it up, but quite honestly it didn't really bother me at all. Good enclosure.
It's a small box that met the size requirements of my sub. The walls are pretty thick and comes pre stuffed with sound deadning material. The my only gripe is that the terminals on the back are not removable so you will be soldering inside that small box. I'd definetly buy again.
My sub recommends .75 sealed cubic feet of space. I left the padding in the box, but maybe should have taken it out since adding the additional padding makes a small box sound bigger. For my use, I prefer a tighter bass rather than volume or low frequency. That said, I have not removed the sub to take the padding out, its not that much different than the setup I had before with the same sub and same size box without padding. Carpet was nice, very professionally built box. No issues installing a 10" kappa 100.9w sub (no trimming or anything needed). TL;DR -- Well built solid box, would recommend to others, will purchase again when need arises.
Glued together well and insulated correctly, our mb quart 10 with dual voicecoil sounds clean and has amazing bass for it's size. We modified input port for dual voicecoil, drilled holes in plastic to accommodate multiple wires, then caulked around.
Exactly what I was looking for a small tight box for my woofer. Great build. Solid feel. Would recommend.
It's a nice little box for a good price. I got a deal on it with a sub and a code so for the box and sub it was under 100 bucks delivered. I cannot complain about that. I am actually using it in my house as a home theater sub and it works well. It is a little big for the trunk of my car (Impreza), so I will continue to use a smaller box in there. I did try it out in there and it did fit, but took up too much room. It takes up very little room in the house though.
