Our 30 year old disabled daughter is bedridden. Last year she developed a bedsore on her elbow. the nurse practionier suggested that we add Beneprotein to her gtube feedings. it seems to be helping her heal. Progress is slow. Praying for positive results
I bought this product to add protein to my mother in laws restricted pureed diet. It is tasteless, so it does not affect the flavor of the prepared food and it mixes easily with complete liquids and semi liquids. My mother in law had no digestive issues with this product. I was so pleased that I ordered a case the next time!
My son was given Beneprotein as a patient at Columbia Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Chikdren's Hospital prior to and following a skin flap surgery. He was also given it when he continued on to the rehab facility following his hospital stay. The plastic surgeon said that it would help the wound heal and indeed it did! All of the medical personnel involved were pleased with how well his wound healed, especially following the surgery. We are still giving it to him to try to build additional muscle. The powder dissolves completely and passes easily into my son's G-tube. We give it to him 3 times/daily dissolved in a cup of water. It doesn't seem to upset his stomach or make him bloated.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great taste and love all the nutrition I get from this every morning! The texture is so smooth! It smells delicious! Love that I don't get glucose spikes ! Perfect sized bottles ! The instructions are easy to follow.
I've been using this since 2010 following a motorcycle wreck - The product and service are excellent BUT the price increases are getting close to putting it out of range of my limited (Social Security) income - I will continue to use as long as I can afford to
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some of these drinks I like and some not so much. This one was not for me. It definitely is packed with tons of wonderful things your body needs, but I couldn't get past the taste. Maybe I'll try some in my coffee as creamer next time. Some of my friends love using it for that!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boost has a little chalky after taste to me. But overall the flavor is okay. I like the convenience of the small bottle and it is already mixed up for the right amount of sugar so I dont have worry about too much sugar.
I thought I was buying what was on the picture!! 1 large container and 3 sample packs and I received 3 little bags and .25 oz each. There should have been 75 packets.
First Time purchasing a Whey product to put in a recipe. This was not the one to purchase. Paid $19.95 for two 0.25 oz packets. Appears to be a big rip off for only ½ oz of product. Instead, I found a 1 lb. package of ISOPURE unflavored Whey for $19.97 to mix with my recipe. From ½ oz to 16 oz for the almost the same price.
This product was like a "gimic" and was not worth the money!
