Ben's 30% DEET Tick & Insect Repellent Wipes, 12 Count

I was upset I couldn't find Ben's wipes in a store but luckily a Walmart associate told me about Walmart.com and Walmart and I was able to find my favored wipes with ease!! This is the best wipe on the market by far. Hope to see it in stores soon

This actually works! I attract mosquitoes from far %26 wide. I used this at the beach for July 4th outside event - no bites! It also doesn't have a strong smell.

I made a gift basket for my adult niece, who is an outdoor enthusiast %26 went to work in the N.E. area of the US. Since she loves day hikes and backpacking in the woods, I wanted to include tick repellant %26 came across these wipes. They turned out to be one of the best things in the gift! She later told me these small packets were one of her fav things, %26 wonderful to have along on a trip making her feel well protected. They are convenient to apply, and reapplying was an easy option since they travel easily with you. She noticed they are very effective and has continued to use them not only while in the N.E. but once back home since they keep more than just ticks away. I rated 5 stars because when you look at the cost per application, .66 cents they are affordable for the great protection from bugs. However, You might want to check into the pump spray versions if you are going to use on a regular basis. ALSO, I noticed after I bought these there is a “Hunter's” %26 "Wilderness " version spray that has a higher concentration of DEET (98.1% of the active ingredient) while the wipes are 30%. Length of hours of protection for wipes is 7 hours while the length of time for the higher concentration is 10 hours. Based on my family's reports of efficacy, I recommend the wipes for their convenience and effectiveness. If I were going to need the protection for a loong day in the woods, or I was outdoors on a regular basis I encourage considering one of the spray versions since the bottle is small enough to easily travel in your pack.

It did not protect against mosquitoes or chiggers Therefore, it also cost too much for even a trial

bought for trip. Haven't tried yet

I bought this for my Africa Safari trip. The wipes is convenient for carry-on or check-in luggage, avoiding a lot of travelling hassle going through Custom Control.

Repurchased

Great idea!

I'm new to this area, so I'm not sure how credible this is, but after using the wipe and hik8ng in the woods, nothing bit me or came out with me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out Ben's insect repellant in a national Forrest and it didn't disappoint. The baby wipe type of application was nice but hard to get some areas. It was moist and went a long way and the portable pack was perfect for my on the go adventure. It dries without any notice other than a little bit of a scent which is to be expected with deet. It lasted me my whole trek which was about 5 hours. All in all I recommend!
