This works great. We pack it the night before, my son takes it to school in his lunch box. It keeps it cold enough all day to keep the food safe to eat and then he heats it up at school in the microwave right in the container and has freshly reheated food. He wasn’t eating his lunch because it was sitting in his thermos for too long. Now he eats all his lunch every day!

I love this thing. I like the satisfying hiss of air as I release the seal and it does a really got job of keeping wet stuff separate from crunchy dry stuff. I just wish they sold extra dividers because I like to sometimes use the divider from my second box to make three compartments.

Keeps food cold and the separator works well. I do have a hard time opening it though!

I got the uncoated version so it won't do any flaking I hope. So far it is good but when I try to heat in a microwave, it is super uneven. If you have liquid in one area especially. Probably need to make the contents mostly uniform and stir around. Oven works fine of course.

Did not find the temperature retained as much during cold weather days. Too pricey for the product. May not return this only because I have used it a few times

I love the look of the Bentgo MicroSteel Lunch Box, but I was disappointed that the paint chipped right when I removed the warning label. Other than that, it has a nice design and seems well-made.

The steel is flimsier than I hoped. The lid either needs prying to where you worry you will spill the contents when it "bursts" open, or forcing in a thumb-numbing plug that will surely erode. Would not buy again. The rubber case divider cannot stop most sauces, and because more irrelevant with each wash.

Nice quality container. While microwave safe, it might be better called microwave "proof". I had to double heating time in the microwave and the container got hotter than the food.

The cover started peeling day 1, just like many of the other pictures you see in the reviews. We had only washed it once by hand. Returned it.

Cannot microwave with the cover. That defeats the purpose. I gave the container away. Why make it microwaveable but then you have to find an alternative cover? Especially for the price? I do not recommend spending your money on this item. Not worth it.
