A support bracket should be used so it does not fall out of your window especially for the larger units. Too often I see a/c units teetering out of people's windows. A little wonky to set up but it does a good job. They include the allen wrenches and such.

The item itself is great. It’s served its purpose with no issues at all. The assembly was lengthy to be honest. I don’t consider myself to be a fast assembly person but I can get by. That being said, this wasn’t fun to assembly alone and required me getting help to hold some of the parts in place. Once it was done it was excellent so I’m still giving it 5 stars. The instructions were fine it’s just so many steps it was tedious and you definitely want to make sure you double check considering the purpose of the item. You wouldn’t want it failing from a speedy assembly and costing you more money in the end

Good product, but terrible assembly instructions

I would have given you a 5 but the package was missing key screws. Thankfully I had some leftover screws and washer from another project, so I was able to complete the assembly. Too tired to put the support into the window, will try again tomorrow and update, hopefully with a higher rating at that time. Very well-constructed unit; so somebody in packaging needs to pay a little more attention to detail.

The parts that were included were very well labeled in their bags by number. The instructions don't actually give much detail. You mostly look at the picture and try to read what part number goes there. The actual step-by-step directions are not helpful at all. It appeared a couple part numbers of screws, nuts and bolts were missing. I reached out and the seller got back to me immediately. after providing some additional information. they went to the manufacturer and again got back to me very promptly with the response. The response, however, from the manufacturer is not what I expected. The picture shows nuts and bolts going in after a screw and the manufacturers response was that it wasn't necessary so they did in fact include all parts. as a result, they were not willing to provide me what parts appeared to be missing (Again, just some nuts and bolts) So I was trying to match to the screw size what was needed to keep it in place. aside from that, the metal seemed very strong and set in place rather easily.

Seemed very sturdy but there was a problem with the size of one of the holes that a screw was supposed to go in - the hole was too small. I didn't have a tool to make the hole bigger (if that was even possible, considering the material it's made out of) and it was too late to return it so I had to throw it out. 😖

Too many screws. There was no directions on how to put it together and the pictures were confusing and didn't help any.

I didn't like it because I have to put together about 100 screws that's crazy.
