😃 I purchased this 8-panel foldable dog playpen to use indoors for a litter of nine puppies, and overall it has worked well for our needs. Even now at around 2 months old, the puppies are still using it successfully as their main contained space in my living room. 🐶 💡 Pro tip: For floor protection, we layered everything to keep messes contained. First, we have an area rug over carpet. Then we laid down cut-open contractor bags (taped together to cover the space) and lightly tacked them down so they wouldn’t shift. On top of that, we placed reusable, washable waterproof bed-style mats (like hospital pads), slightly overlapping them. Finally, we added towels over the puppies’ bedding area (their puppy bed) for extra absorbency and comfort. This setup works really well—nothing leaks through, and cleanup is easy since we can just swap out mats and towels every couple of hours and toss them in the wash. It definitely helps with puppy messes, spilled food, and water… though it does mean staying on top of laundry (puppy life!) 🐶🧺🧼 As the puppies have gotten bigger and more active, the panels can shift if left unsecured. To keep the pen in place indoors, we’ve had to put objects around the outside to hold it where we want it. Just something to be aware of as they grow. 🐕 Outdoors, the playpen works very well when staked into the ground and feels much more secure. 👍 This pen is best suited for young or small puppies—or even kittens. Medium or larger dogs could easily move it or jump over it, so it’s not ideal for bigger pets. 💯 Overall, it’s a convenient, flexible option that we’re still actively using—just with a few adjustments as the puppies get older. 👍🐕
