So far I'm impressed with this product. I was concerned about the authenticity of these Black Berkey filters since they had been removed from store shelves for so long. If they work as well and for as long as my previous Black Berkey filters, then I could update the quality to 5 stars. Only time will tell for that score. so far I am happy with these I found offered by WalMart.

Fed Ex delivered to wrong house. Honest mistake, but the homeowners went out of town, so I don't have my filters. I will wait until they return.

Total Fake!
These are nock off filters being marketed as genuine Berkey filters. There is no actual information on the box to verify the properties of these filters. Total scam!

Defective Filters - Need a refund/replacement
I just installed these new filters in my Berkey water filter and the water practically poured through the filters whereas the original filters only released the water in slow drips. I tried installing both with and without the rubber washers/grommets with the same results. I also added red food coloring to the top tank and the water coming through had a distinct pinkish tinge to it. These are not filtering the water the way my original Berkey filters did. I don't know whats going on but these are not authentic filters.

Garbage Fraudulent knock off
Listing states AUTHENTIC Black Berkey Elements, BB9-2, set of 4. Images show Original %26 Genuine 'New Millennium Concepts' packaging - both the front and end of the box with holographic sticker, as well as authentic filters with the 'Berkey (R)' name on the plastic base. What I received was a garbage no name fraudulent knock off.

Not Authentic Berkey Filters
I didn't realize these are NOT AUTHENTIC Berkey Filters until I visited the Berkey website at: berkeywaterfilter.com after ordering them. I couldn't cancel my order so I got a refund after I received it. On the Berkey website it tells how to identify frauds. This meets all the criteria. Very disappointing.
