I have the 6” pair of these already and they're quite nice. These are also. No complaints. Should fit in my smaller tackle box a little better than the other pair.

Bigger and nicer than I expected. I'll have to buy another, smaller pair. Already much better than the basic needle nose pliers that this replaced. A classic piece of fishing equipment that is tackle box ready.

I like the split ring pliers, though they are too big for typical trout and panfish split rings. They are made for tackle appropriate for massive lake fish or Steelhead. Ironically, these will see rare use for keychain split rings, and I had to buy a pair of inexpensive jeweler's tiny split ring pliers for my tiny fishing split rings. Depending on your target species and size-appropriate tackle, these might be what you need. If not, buy jeweler's split ring pliers. The tiny wedge on the tiny pliers will not permanently bend tiny split rings, as the Berkley's are likely to do, if you can fit them into ring at all.

Made it way harder to try and change out some split rings on some spoons then it should have been.
