Secret weapon
I have no idea why more people are not talking about this. They work great for trout. More convenient than real worms, reusable. I use the floating ones instead of PowerBait and use the sinking ones instead of mini jigs. I can't say enough how well these work. Yes a recommendation for this

I use the sinking pinched crawlers (1" %26 2") under a slip bobber either whacky rigged or with an Owner Mosquito Light hook. Holdover trout hit them regularly with an occasional large channel cat thrown in for good measure. Note: The floating pinched crawlers are also deadly fished off the bottom with a slip sinker.

Long lasting
I love this bait because it is fresh bait that i dont have to buy every single day and if it gets hot in your pack you can still use it.
