it works great for me especially for catfishing but it will be perfect for bass machine and room fishing just a lot of weight and don't Tango up much with me but I guess it's because I'm using the man :-) and big casters but in my other Hill my 303 and 404 it Tangles up but it is 15 lbs a lot of like 8 lb might work best for my other but I would recommend
One of the best mono lines on the market. And has been for years. Berkley Big Game has been a staple for my reels for 30 years and has never let me down. If you're looking for an all around dependable line that will deliver time and again, look no further.
Iv been using big game for years and wouldn't use anything else
can't beat Walmart's prices. way better than the Bass you know who?
Really good value for really good line
It's nice and strong and blends into water nicely
I actually have multiple reels with different line strengths. It all depends on what I am fishing for. I have used this brand many times over the years, and if you add the line depending on an open cast or closed, it will last quite well. The line holds it's strength and does not knot up inside the reels. I would recommend switching out the line after every season as a precaution. Like changing oil in your vehicle, a great way to maintain for the next year.
I ended up with a product that I did not want. I somehow ordered 20lb, when I wanted 8lb. Unsure how that happened.
I'm a Trilene fishing line person, this line tangle quickly and not the best quality of Berkeley, I'm very surprised with this Berkeley product. Never had problems until I order all my fishing stuff on online. I really believe they used the scrap of Berkley line. Next year I will go inside the store to buy my equipment.
While I was able to get a few fish in with this line, I wound up losing about 9 out of every 10 because it's too stretchy. So much that it would literally create slack and the fish would hook off. When I switched to braided I didn't have that problem.
