Great for blankets love it
Great quality, bad shrinkflation.
I bought this the first time in 2010 to make a blanket for my grandson. The next year I bought it again to make a blanket for my my granddaughter. (Two different sets of parents.) Now I have bought a new batch of this tarn for a new little cousin who arrived early. From prior experience I know that it will knit up quickly and be very soft, squishy and easy to care for. Just right for new parents.
Great for making stuffed animals and the like. Soft and cuddly. Just be careful when tugging on the single strand for the magic ring, can break easily. Most skeins have had at least 2 joining knots in them. Other than that I highly recommend this yarn for creative endeavors.
I knitted baby blankets for the Hospital Gift Shop and am currently knitting them for the Baby Basic Program at the local Food Bank. People love them. I have used other wools, but nothing compares to Bernat Baby Blanket wool. The texture and softness of the wool is perfect for blankets and the colour choices are fantastic. Even adults have requested these blankets for lap quilts and shawls. And they are machine and dryer friendly! Knitting is easy and the wool slides off the needle with ease. So thank you to Bernat for supplying me with Baby Blanket wool!
I ordered Bernard baby blanket yarn at the suggestion of my aunt. I needed red & found the color in discounted yarn. I was very pleased. Loved the color. The yarn is so soft. I think it is my favorite yarn I have ever worked with. I loved working with this yarn so much that I bout enough to make 2 more blankets.
the yarn is easy to work with, it flows and has a great texture/soft to the touch. The only draw back is that walmart never has enough to complete one project and when one tries to buy it on line the names of the yarn are not given just the brand name. So matching due to a small pic is not the best solution but can become a nightmare. Otherwise Bernat has great yarns/ styles and great colors to suit all tastes. I still have a blanket I made over 40 years ago and it still looks great including the pattern and colors which is all timeless
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am making a blanket for my friend who was expecting but unfortunately she lost her precious little girl. I am still going ahead with the blanket. The yarn is soft and the colours are soft and delicate. I know she will treasure this forever. I am so glad I found your company. Thank you.
I have been making baby blankets for the Marine couples in our winter home in Az. and found this very rewarding. Since the Marine recruits never know where they will be based, I find that most of them appreciate the 5 or 6 wt. yarn. It is so soft and makes up beautifully, plus babies love to be wrapped in it.
I love the yarn except Yarnspirations did not send the same lot numbers so the skeins do not match. The blanket can not be completed. No where on the order does it say that the lot numbers may be different. To return the yarn i would have to pay shipping again. I will not purchase from here again.
